Baby Essentials Checklists

Baby Essentials ChecklistFrom your baby’s first trip home to their first play date, and all of the other “Firsts” in between that come with being a new parent, we’ve got you covered. Here, our Essential Checklists that will make life as a family—and your shopping trips— easier on all of you!

Baby’s First trip

It may only be a few minutes, but that first ride in the car can be stressful. Is he buckled in properly? Is she warm enough? Is the sun too bright? What do I do if he cries? Pick up a few essentials to make the trip more fun, and then sit back and enjoy your first excursion as a family—it only happens once.

Baby’s First Outing

Your new little bundle’s first set of wheels are just as important for you as they are for him: They’ll take you to doctor’s appointments, to visit friends and family, and on outings to nearby parks and walks around the neighbourhood. So choose a stroller model that has all the functionality you want and all the comfort he needs.  And don’t forget the other don’t-leave-home essentials like a cup holder, a multi-pocketed diaper bag and yes, those stroller toys that promise to keep everyone moving happily along.

First Night at Home

Your first act of parenthood will likely occur before you even meet your new baby: creating a safe, cosy place for your wee one to lay her head.  Beautiful cribs, adorable prints and nursery accessories will make readying her bedroom a joy.

Baby’s First Meals

From their first moments at the breast or bottle to the early days of solids, make sure you have everything you need to nourish your tot. Think about products to make transitions easier, and don’t forget to pick up a collection of bibs!

Baby’s First Playtime

You can play with your new baby from day one: Talk and sing to them, tickle those tiny toes and clap their little hands, and offer as many smiles as you can. (One day soon you’ll get a smile back!) As they grow, introduce new toys and games to grow that little brain.
