Blog: Get Up and Dance – Fisher-Price Bright Beats Dance & Move BeatBo and BeatBo Clothing

Put the cookies and milk out for Santa and make sure he leaves this toy under the tree for your little elf.

As anyone with little ones can attest to, there are toys for everything imaginable. There are toys for hand-eye coordination, for sensory enhancement, for counting, colours, ABC’s, wearing off energy, for teething –you get the picture, pick any activity or learning milestone and there are about a dozen toys to choose from that claim to help your child enhance that particular skill through the art of play.

BeatBo isn’t an exception to this. It’s fully a toy for play and development but it is an all-in-one toy that grows with your baby and that’s music and rhymes aren’t completely annoying after the 100th time hearing them (anyone who has ever listened to a toys music on repeat knows what I’m talking about). Believe me you will find yourself singing BeatBo’s songs in the shower, but at least they’ve got good beats!

BeatBo will entertain your little one for minutes; and I’m talking 20+ minutes – can you say ‘Parent Win’.  (I’d put hours because it would sound better but I’m being realistic, and the only thing my child does in increments of ‘hours’ is sleep…on a good night…if I’m lucky.)

By pushing the buttons on BeatBo’s feet and tummy your child is introduced to all the songs, learning and dance moves BeatBo has to offer. BeatBo’s three modes – Dance ‘n Move, Learning & Games and Customized Sing-Along – take your child into the world of ABC’s, colours, counting, music and host of other sensory activities that help them in the development of their sensory, motor, cognitive and language skills.

Oh but parents there’s more, this toy is not only entertaining for your child but for yourself as well.  Remember that Customized Sing-Along mode, well this mode lets you record your own phrases and songs and BeatBo sings and remixes them back to you.  I didn’t know I was a DJ until this toy came along, and now I’m pumping out the beats daily!

(Side note: after a couple glasses of wine with friends, the rhymes BeatBo can spit out using the Customized Sing-Along are hilarious)

BeatBo (or BeatBelle) is a fun and educational toy that any parent can feel good about purchasing for their child and one which I highly recommend.

Finally, when the day is done, and your little one is worn out from a long day of playing with BeatBo they can cozy up in these adorable BeatBo pj’s and drift off to dreamland. Breathable, soft and warm, you can rest easy knowing your baby will have a comfortable night’s sleep.
