Blog: Just call it InGenius – The Ingenuity InLighten 2-in-1 Cradling Swing Reviewed

That’s it – that’s all you need to know and all I need to say.Ingenuity InLighten 2-in-1 cradling swing

To be fair and let you come to your own conclusions I will give you some feedback on this amazing product, but I give you fair warning before you read on – I am bias because I LOVE this thing.

Let me run down a few of the features of the Ingenuity InLighten 2-in-1 Cradling Swing:

It’s a 2-in-1 swing and rocker. The seat easily detaches from the swing to become a rocker that’s easily portable anywhere you are in the house

It has ConnectMe technology which allows you to hook up your phone to the swing and play videos, pictures and music for your child.

If you need to use your phone though – don’t worry, the swing also has its own music which plays a total of 8 different tunes and 3 different nature sounds.

There are 6 different speed settings and 3 timer settings.

The seat rotates so that your child can swing forward facing or side facing.

It has a mobile attached that has lots of visual stimulation for your child with both hanging elephants and stars that light up different colours in the dark.

The seat has a button that allows you to turn on or off soothing vibrations.

It has a 5-point harness to keep even the most wiggly babies safe.

This swing has been our saving grace countless times for naps and bedtime when Callum fights sleep with everything he has, it’s been our ticket to eat a hot meal together, it’s given me the opportunity to at least tidy up our home to the point that it looks like adults live in it, and it’s allowed us to even have the occasional night out because out babysitters know that if all else fails – they are armed with a trick up their sleeve – the swing!!!!

All joking aside this is truly one of the best products on the market! It was easy to put together, versatile, easy to clean, and the price point is modest compared to similar products. If I was given the option to choose between this swing and another on the market I would hands down choose the Ingenuity InLighten 2-in-1 Cradling Swing every time.

But to be completely honest – the main reason for this is my son. Let’s face it – any parent is going to choose the product their child likes best. He prefers the faster swinging motion (he’s a bit of a daredevil already) and I love the lights, sounds, videos and all the other features of this swing that keep him entertained.

If there was one added feature that I wish the Ingenuity InLighten 2-in-1 Cradling Swing  had it would be that the seat, when taken off the swing, has the option to rock on its own in conjunction with the vibration option.  This is simply a selfish request, because the seat does rock back and forth manually – it’s not hard, I’ve done it with my foot while cooking, watching tv, and blogging (in fact I’m doing it right now as I write this), but if it did it on its own, well that would be amazing and make this product perfect!

So, let’s recap – this product is amazing, you should all run out and buy it now, and thank me later for the recommendation!
