Blog: Keep your nursery smelling of roses – Diaper Genie Expressions Reviewed By »

November 4th, 2016

A diaper pail is a must have for any new parents. Regardless if you have chosen to use disposable diapers or reusable cloth diapers, the diaper pail should be on the top of your registry list.

This one item can be the difference between your nursery smelling of the sweet aroma of ‘new baby smell’ or the stench of a garbage dump.

Don’t leave this to chance – get a diaper pail!

If you have chosen to use disposable diapers, any of the Playtex Diaper Genie® pails are a fantastic option, but if you’d like an option that you can customize to match your nursery décor, let me introduce you to the new Diaper Genie® Expressions.

New and Exciting Features:

A sleek white design that can be customized to your nursery. Simply choose one one of the five designer sleeves available (sold separately from the Diaper Genie® Expressions pail), slip it overtop the pail and you’re done.

Blue Knit   Blue Tile   Clover Grey    Pink and Grey     Pink Starburst

Easy open Push, Lock, n’ Clamp Lid which features a double secure odour lock system.

Side bar: thanks to the new push, lock n’clamp system, the lid of the new Diaper Genie® Expressions pail does stay down much better than other models of the Diaper Genie® and in turn keeps smells locked in much better. However, the Diaper Genie® Expressions pail doesn’t offer the convenience of the foot pedal to open the lid which I really miss. It’s a lot easier to keep a squirmy baby on the change pad while throwing away the dirty diaper if you have your hands free and can use your foot to open the lid.

This new design holds more diapers (about 25-30 size 3 diapers) than the regular design, which means less changing of the refills and more money in your pocket.

This diaper pail really does bring practical and fashionable together while providing outstanding odour protection! If you’re an expecting parent – put this on your registry, if you’ve got little ones already – get it, and if you’re looking for a great gift for any parent – buy it!
