TOMMEE TIPPEE – What Will I Need For Feeding Baby?

There’s no baby book on your baby. As with many decisions you face as a parent, you have to just take a deep breath and Tommee Tippee Logo#ParentOn. For over 50 years, Tommee Tippee has helped parents on their journey with an array of baby feeding options designed to make life easier. And perhaps a little more fun. With award-winning, innovative products for breast feeding, bottle feeding and more, Tommee Tippee is now in families’ homes in over 50 countries around the world.

TTommee Tippee articlehe Formula for Formula Feeding

If you plan to formula feed your baby, at the very least, you’re going to need formula and baby bottles. While we can’t help you remember how many scoops you’ve already counted while measuring in the middle of the night, we can help you with bottles.

Many bottle manufacturers claim to be the best in any number of categories: best Tommee Tippee Ultra Bottlefor latch-on, best for being breast-like or best at reducing air intake, but the new Tommee Tippee® Ultra™ Bottle has it all in one, making it the only bottle you’ll ever need. No compromises necessary.

  • Ultra features a breast-like shape for a natural latch and feeding action.
  • An anti-colic contour zone has been uniquely built into the Ultra nipple, which forms a perfect match to baby’s mouth. This reduces air intake and dribbles.
  • The revolutionary offset nipple allows for a smooth milk flow that keeps the nipple full of milk through the entire feed and keeps painful air bubbles out of baby’s belly.

Pumping and the Breast to Bottle TransitionTommee Tippee Pump and Go

If you choose to pump, you’ll need a way to store your breast milk for your baby to drink later. The Tommee Tippee® Pump and Go system makes pumping and feeding easier by using a single pouch to pump, store, warm and feed – no messy pouring needed and no crying over spilled breastmilk! One pouch takes your milk from breast to baby. Tip: label your milk with the time of expression so you can use the oldest milk first.

Moms have told us they like to have other extras while breastfeeding or pumping, such as:

  • a snack or something to drink
  • a reminder of baby nearby when you pump (clothing or photo)
  • a fully charged cell phone or other electronic device to help pass the time
  • a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign to hang on the doorTommee Tippee Closer to Nature Bottle

Some moms prefer a classic baby bottle, whether using pumped breastmilk or formula. The original Tommee Tippee® Closer to Nature Bottle has fed millions of babies worldwide. It was designed to mimic a breast and ease the transitions of switching back and forth between bottle and breast. The nipple is made with a super-soft, high grade silicone that moves in multiple directions, like a breast, replicating a natural feeding action. And for babies with a bit of excess Tommee Tippee Added Comfort Bottlegas, the Tommee Tippee® Added Comfort/Anti Colic Bottle uses a unique tube and valve venting system designed to help prevent colic caused by air bubbles in milk.

Newborns need to eat every few hours. (Babies eat so much…so much.) Consider getting 8-10 bottles so that you’ll only need to run your dishwasher once a day.

Mother Yourself

Supplementing with formula is an option to consider as is creating a stockpile of breastmilk so Dad or another caregiver can cover a feeding. Maybe you’re headed back to work. Maybe you want a baby-free date night or the occasional cocktail. With the right bottle, that’s no problem.

Getting the rest and relaxation you need can be a challenge, but Tommee Tippee offers an assortment of baby essentials from bibs and pacifiers to warmers and sterilizers all designed to make life easier and, in the end, more satisfying for you and baby. #ParentOn
