I love the idea of a convertible that grows with them from infant to big kid and love how easy it was to transition it from one setting to the other. The infant padding inserts keep my baby nice and snug, while my toddler has plenty of room to feel comfortable and not cramped when the infant inserts are removed. The wide range of recline and headrest settings allow for a comfortable fit no matter what age or stage I&rsquo;m using it for. This seat delivers the safety features that Britax is known for - from the steel-frame and Y-shaped top tether to the ClickTight installation. I am impressed with how solid this seat is. It is a lot heavier than other seats, but I don&rsquo;t plan to move it too often. I appreciate that this seat rear-faces up to 50 lbs. and 49&rdquo; &ndash; definitely at the top of the range for rear-facing limits in car seats. It also supports big kids in booster-mode up to 120 lbs. so I know my babies will be safe in the car long past their baby years. This is my first time to experience the ClickTight install and WOW, I love it! It gives me such peace of mind to know that no matter who is installing the seat, it is easy and straightforward to get a quick and secure installation every time. It makes me that much more comfortable with leaving the car seat with grandparents or babysitters without having to worry that they&rsquo;re securing our most precious cargo correctly. There are also a lot of great convenience features like shoulder pads that stay attached to the seat back, a crotch buckle pad, easy-to-remove cup holders, and vented side panels to keep kiddos cool. Britax also put a lot of thought into storage of different pieces. The top anchor strap tightens flat against the back when in rear-facing mode so there aren&rsquo;t loose straps hanging, the LATCH buckle stores nicely under the ClickTight compartment, and when you convert to booster mode, there is even a place to store the harness and buckle under the seat. Had a known about the Britax One4Life All In One Car Seat sooner, I could have skipped some the headache and frustration of my prior research and purchases. Appearance wise, I love the design. The look is sleek and upscale looking even as it continues to grow with your child. The Britax One4Life All In One Car Seat is no exception to the standard of convertible car seats being heavy, however I like that there was a handle on the top to carry it by instead of digging my fingers into it trying to carry it. With cupholders being a must for this age, I love the ones on this car seat as they cannot be easily knocked off. Another feature I enjoyed was that there was storage for the different pieces you may or may not) take off at some point to keep them out of the way. One area I did have a hard time with was the seat rattling, but this was solved by putting weight on the middle of the seat and tightening the straps to the car. My only other complaint is that the straps to fasten baby down were initially tight but have loosened up over time. Overall, I would highly recommend the Britax One4Life All In One Car Seat. The click tight installation and easy to manage lower anchors made this the easiest seat to install. The anchors on most seats never seem long enough and have been so hard to clip in rear facing. There are so many features that make this an amazing seat but a few of my favorite features is the quick-adjust headrest and harness so you can get the proper fit quickly and the full size cup holders that are dishwasher-safe. Install was as easy as you&rsquo;d expect from Clicktights. Even without knowing the system from our other seat, it would&rsquo;ve been easy to figure out. We currently have a big 4 month old, an almost 2 year old, and a new 3 year old. All three kids fit into the seat well and we&rsquo;re easily adjusted. We&rsquo;re using it for the 2 year old and have her rear-facing, and it seems like she&rsquo;ll be able to stay that way until the 3 year old needs to front face! I am thankful and excited to have many options for using this one car seat! Overall, the material feels really nice and all of the padding makes me feel really safe. With Britax&rsquo;s safety technology and consistently great safety reviews, I feel confident putting my babies in there. The shoulder pads are tucked into the belt holes which means no more shoulder straps slipping, which I love! The straps stay in place nicely when the babies are out, so when I put them back in I don&rsquo;t have to dig around to straighten them. Huge win for a mom of 3 littles! That being said, there&rsquo;s something about the straps that I like less about this seat than the Britax Marathon and I&rsquo;m not sure what it is. They seem harder to tighten for sure, and the chest clip seems to dig into my baby&rsquo;s chest a little more. This is the only reason I didn&rsquo;t give this seat a 5 star review! The cupholders are an additional bonus! My 2 year old usually loves to throw her cup and snacks in the car, but she&rsquo;s excited about the cupholders and it has motivated her to keep them near. The Britax One4Life has impressed my husband and I with the ClickTight system. It was a breeze to install. Once the seat was in place, we could not move it even an inch! The guides are right on the seat and we had no problem understanding what we needed to do. The headrest was easily adjustable and even the height of the straps adjusted with it. Easy peasy. No movement, the reinforced steel frame, and the double layer side impact were also impressive. I&rsquo;m certain that every parent is concerned about safety and the One4All is one of the safest that I have had the pleasure of using! Although the car seat is heavy the steel frame makes it worth it. Other than the ClickTight system, the organization of the pieces are one I can&rsquo;t go without now. The bottom connector strap folds away and is tucked underneath the seat. The harness also tucks away when you need to upgrade your child to the booster! There are other awesome features like the V-shaped tether, the plush seating, the stay-put, soft comfort pads (small thing but great improvement), and the side vents. The vents (as well as the other amazing features) allowed my kids to travel long hours without a fuss. We had a few 3-hour rides and no complaints. My OCD was in awe. Our daughter was growing out of her infant seat, and we were starting to consider which convertible car seat to use for her. We knew we liked ClickTight car seats, so wow! the idea of having a ClickTight seat that would grow with her was amazing! One of the features that enables the One4Life All In One Car Seat to grow with the child is the Quick-Adjust Headrest and Harness. And it truly is quick-adjust! You squeeze the red adjuster at the top of the head rest and move it to the correct height for your child. It moves easily enough that my five year old son was doing it himself. Another feature that makes it easy to grow with the child is the recline button. You push the little round button on either side of the car seat, and the seat EASILY reclines or moves forward. So as the child grows and doesn&rsquo;t need to recline as much, it is SIMPLE to adjust the seat. I LOVE the ease with which these features on the seat can be adjusted! One of my absolute favorite features of the seat is the ClickTight installation. We have two other ClickTight seats, but this one is somehow even easier to use! When installing the seat we purchased four years ago, the seat belt will get caught on the pathway. But One4Life All In One was a breeze to install rear-facing! I haven&rsquo;t installed it forward-facing yet, which I&rsquo;m curious how that will go, since it seems you have to thread the car&rsquo;s seat belt through holes, rather than along a pathway. But so far, the rear-facing install has been simple and easy to end up with a SOLID installation that I have come to expect from ClickTight seats. One other feature my husband noted--which meant it impressed him--is that the cupholders can twist out for easy cleaning! No lingering stickiness or whatever might end up in there. :) There has been one aspect of the seat that surprised me, because it has not been an issue with past seats AND everything else has functioned with such ease on this particular seat. When buckling our daughter into the seat, the harness adjuster strap has been difficult to pull when tightening, making it more challenging to ensure the harness is snug enough. Other than that, we have been loving the One4Life All in One Car Seat we received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The seat is very well made and feels incredibly sturdy. I love the straps and the buckle design. Unlike my previous car seats, the straps haven&rsquo;t ever gotten twisted, and the crotch buckle never gets lost under a toddler bottom. Simple things like this make my life so much easier when wrestling my kiddo to get into his car seat! I can tell our son is very comfortable in this seat, and the recline options were easy to figure out. Previous seats required a lot of finagling to get into a proper recline. The Britax One4Life has a singular button that allows you to adjust the seat without needing an extra set of arms. Installation was pretty easy as well. The instruction manual is well-written and, for the most part, illustrations are detailed and specific to this model. As a result, it&rsquo;s easy to cross-reference parts in the schematic against parts on the car seat. Perhaps a happy coincidence, but we did not have to make any preliminary adjustments to straps or latches before installing in the common rear-facing configuration. I was a little concerned that the instructions insisted that the latch method not be used for children over 30 lbs, as we typically use this approach and have had modest success using lap belt restraints with other car seats. The only issue with the installation documentation was that is was not immediately clear where to route the shoulder belt. However, after minimal trial and error, I had the lap belt threaded and the seat was very secure. The tight and easy installation got the experience with the car seat off to a very good start. We received this car seat when our child was almost 2 years old, but we love that the seat will adapt to him as he grows or can be used for a second kiddo. The downsides to this seat are few: It is very heavy, so it&rsquo;s not ideal for moving from car to car. The heaviness of the seat, though, makes it seem more secure and safer overall. Other than that, it&rsquo;s a wonderful seat and we would highly consider purchasing additional Britax seats in the future based on the quality of the One4Life. In the past I've always purchased budget or mid-range convertible car seats, but I don't know if I can go back to those! Pros: (1) Easy installation! It took me maybe a minute to install with the ClickTight installation--no more having to climb into the seat and having a wrestling match to get the seat in securely! (2) Removable cup holders. (3) The seat cover is not one big piece. At first this might seem like a negative, but instead of having to remove one big cover, you can just remove the piece you need to wash. There's different pieces for the head, arm rests, seat, etc. (4) Easy installation. (5) The base is a flat, solid square. The budget seat I just replaced was not flat and left some fairly deep indentations in the seat where it was installed, even with a protector. Now I'm not worried about ruining my car's seats. (6) Easy to adjust, multiple position head rest &amp; harness, without having to re-thread the harness. (7) Did I mention it's easy to install? (8) The front-to-back length when installed rear-facing for my 20-month-old fits behind the drivers seat in my minivan with room to grow. (See picture; there's still a couple inches with the driver's seat all the way back) Cons: The seat is heavy, and a bit bulky; It weighs 30 lbs, which is probably the price you pay for the easy installation and safety features like the steel frame. It's rated for airplane seats, but I wouldn't want to lug this around an airport. Even though it's super easy to install, I'm not sure I'd want to switch the car seat back and forth between cars very often. I&rsquo;m always looking for the best and safest seats so I was pretty excited when I was given this all in one car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Britax One4Life is just that...the one and only seat you will need for life because it&rsquo;s designed to be used from birth until the age of 10. What parent doesn&rsquo;t want to eliminate using three to four different car seats as our child grows? First off, I have to say the instruction manual is wonderful. It was very easy to follow with great illustrations to help you convert the seat to each mode. This seat has so many wonderful features and one of my favorites is the CLICKTIGHT doors in the seat back and bottom. This makes installation a breeze. Vehicle belt paths are clearly marked and color coded. Britax has thought of everything! They have even created a convenient storage area for the pads in the seat bottom and the harness straps and chest clip in the seat back when using as a booster. That way you always have all the parts and pieces so there is less chance of losing them. I decided to use this seat in the booster mode for my six year old. I really feel strongly about still having side impact protection for older children and am thrilled this will cover her for several more years. Installation was super easy. Britax really has done a great job making this user-friendly. The most difficult part was carrying the seat to my vehicle. The high strength steel frame makes this seat weigh about 30-35 pounds. I have to admit, it was a little heavy for me, but so worth the safety it provides. Overall, I love everything about this seat, from the easy installation and conversions, to the washable seat padding.
