Upon opening the box, my son and I were so excited by the design on this particular seat, the space themed design Is so bright and fun! We love it! This is just a basic backless booster seat, no bells and whistles, however it does have 2 cup holders, but high is nice so your child can fit a snack and a drink! I love that the cover comes off so easily, that makes it easy to wash. It&rsquo;s pretty easy to put on as well, however, you have to make sure the pegs snap into place. The seat comes with a shoulder belt clip that is very easy to attach to the seat, although you may have to work with it a bit to get it adjusted correctly. Overall, my son likes the seat. He loves the design and says it&rsquo;s pretty comfortable. My son really liked the feel of the seat and using the 2 cup holders. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the design or how the seat fit in our car, but after putting the seat in the car, when my son went to buckle his seat belt he couldn't buckle on his own. The seat would move so that it was covering the belt buckle. We had to help my son buckle every time which is a big inconvenience. Other backless boosters we have used have not had this issue. If you have a larger car this might not be an issue, but I'm not sure. While we were using the booster seat my daughter said it was comfortable, it looked good, and she had more space because it did not have a back part like her original car seat. My 3rd grader felt like an older kid. It was easy to install. The instructions were easy enough. I put the seat belt on her the first time using the seat. We utilize the strap that came with the GoTime. I can admit the seat looks good. It utilized smaller space in the car. It has a space theme to it. It did not scream too girly or boy. Everything seemed simple with it. She could buckle herself in the booster seat. It still had the luxury of having cup holders. For me, simple is best. However, while driving I turned around to talk to her and noticed she was not in her seat incorrectly. She slid down in her seat in a weird way. I had to remind her to sit in her seat the right way. Because of this, I have to say that I would only use this when I am traveling. Human error on my daughter's part made me put her back into the old car seat until she is older and can sit responsibly in her seat. I would take this traveling with me. Going on the plane or in a new car, I am the parent who is lugging all of the luggage and heavy full-size car seats. We have since needed to upgrade our booster seat for my child and their needs. From taking out of the packaging to the set up in the car was efficient and smooth. My child loved the look of the cover and I love that it is easy to clean. The seat fits in perfectly with my other two car seats and my child is able to easily buckle in safely. I am happy that this product is light weight but durable to withstand my child carrying it between cars. My child prefers this car seat so any ride he has to have this one and it has also traveled with us on a trip. The only down side is that it is not the most comfortable of seat for longer rides and my child gets antsy and feels his bottom or legs falls asleep in it. Although there is a high weight limit (120 lbs), unfortunately the seat is too narrow for my 10 year old to sit in. The double cup holders for drinks and snacks are a nice feature. A simple, straightforward booster seat, there weren&rsquo;t a lot of bells and whistles on which to comment. At first, our kiddo struggled somewhat with the seatbelt configuration with the arm rest of the seat but, after some coaching, we got there. The seat meets all safety standards and is very easy to transfer between vehicles for carpools, rides with other family/friends, etc. Beyond safety and convenience, here are a couple of additional considerations: Pros: The collapsible cup/snack holders are a nice touch; the spaceship patterning on the seat is cute and is good for boys or girls. Cons: I wish the cup holders on the sides were a little deeper; it was easy for stuff to tip over and fall out with the shallow holders. Also, if your kid isn&rsquo;t into spaceships, maybe this particular pattern isn&rsquo;t for you. Overall, our expectations were met, though the product did not exceed them or leave us feeling *overly* impressed. However, we were quite satisfied! It&rsquo;s a great back-up booster for a second vehicle (or when giving a ride to a friend or other child), but we do still prefer our original one. He rides in my sedan and the wife's van regularly. Unfortunately, this seat was too wide to fit in my sedan (we have 3 kids in the back) and he was forced to use his old seat which fits nicely. In the van, he regularly uses a 5 point harness system which he's able to operate independently. He didn't do well with the belt clips and it required parental intervention. But overall, he liked the seat well enough. It seemed to be study and the dual cupholders were nice for him but not a necessity. The cover is pretty easily removable for easy cleaning which is an added plus. My son was so excited when it arrived and he especially loved the space pattern and that it has TWO cup holders. We loved how easy it was to put together and there was zero installation. This was great for simplicity and ease, but also made me a bit leery about safety. Overall the seat is nice, easy to clean, and comes with a shoulder belt clip to hold the seatbelt in the proper location which I really liked. The clip was easy to attach but did require me to help my son position it correctly so it take some independence away. His biggest critique was in comfort as the seat pad is very thin and lacks cushion. It works fine for quick drives and running errands but I don&rsquo;t think he would like using this seat for an extended period of time like a road trip. I was also a bit concerned that the manual states that you should not use the cup holder for &ldquo;bottles, or hard containers. Only for use with soft cups.&rdquo; I would guess most other children of age to ride in a booster would have hard water bottle type cups like my son and I found it odd that they discouraged using it for those. At it&rsquo;s affordable price point, I do believe this is a great basic booster for your everyday short car rides. It&rsquo;s light weight, convenient for moving from vehicle to vehicle, and very easy to clean. Upon opening the box I fell in love with the cute outer space print on the seat cover. My eight year old son was smitten too! When we went to put the booster in my minivan, the installation process was super easy. The only drawback that I noticed was that with the cup holders, the seat tended to be on the wider side. I am not sure if it would fit across the center row with two other car seats seats. Fortunately for me, that was not my seating arrangement, so it worked just fine. Both my 5 year old daughter and 8 year old son loved riding in the seat. They said it was super comfy and they had fun stashing their snacks and toys in the cup holders. I had not used a seat belt clip before and was a little intimidated at first but it was very easy to attach and my kids could use the seat belt with the belt clips just fine. I felt like the fit of the seat worked for both of them and was confident that they were safe. What was your favorite feature of this booster? My family and I always do a thorough set of research before purchasing anything related to child safety. A few things I would say about this booster seat : 1. Easy install however does not have clips to clip into the seat so can move around on the seat. The way that the buckle fits under a small hook does make it very secure when the child is in the car seat. Does not move around much when buckled in. 2. Lightweight so easy to move from vehicle to vehicle. 3. Design was gender neutral which he positive for families that have mixed gender children. 4. My 6 year old daughter (45 lbs) was able to buckle and unbuckle by herself which is a positive for me. I didn't feel that it was poorly made, but felt the cloth was a little thin in some areas. After strapping my daughter in, I did feel for the most part that she was secured in it. I did like the added colors instead of just a generic black booster seat!
