I went out and bought this seat to take my niece and nephew or friends children around town, it&rsquo;s the best. I have thus far convinced 3 other people to purchase the all in one car seat for their infants. The auto tightening anchor system is amazing and installation takes me 30 seconds! And the easy adjusting shoulder straps makes it extremely convenient for transitions and going between children, as well as the easy change between forward and rear facing. Being able to switch from rear to forward facing is so wonderful and the convenience is well worth the cost. We were looking for one that was applicable along most of the weight and age range, and this one is the right seat for any infant or toddler. We love that we only have to buy one more for each kid. The materials are great, and seem to hold up fairly well. For the price, this is the best car seat. I bought these seats because they are supposed to be the only seats they will ever need. The deciding factors were the reviews and the safety ratings as well as a much lower price point than our main carseat. I would never purchase this car seat again and should have returned it immediately to save the amount of frustration I've experienced with this seat. It is nearly impossible to install. Feeding the seat belt through is no easy task, you have to move the lining of the seat and angle yourself awkwardly to get it through. The seat is so large it is hard to get the clips installed. I drive a pretty spacious sedan and the car seat is so big the front seat of the car has to be all the way forward in order for this seat to fit in the car leaving my child and front passenger with no leg room. And forget about the seat next to the car seat being used for anything. I got used to the limited space and once it was installed I figured it wouldn't be moving much so didn't worry about that too much. Then I had to wash the seat. The cover is ONE giant piece. It is not easy to get off. I could not remove the straps to wash them so I had to spray the seat down with the hose once the cover was off. Thankfully putting the cover back on was much easier than taking it off. Install is super easy in our mini van but is difficult trying to get it into a smaller vehicle due to the size. The fabric is great and is very durable and padding is super comfy. The only downside to this seat are the cup holders. I see that some of the newer models have a new style cup holder which is great. We have experienced many spills if my daughter is not using a spill proof cup. The cupholders would not prevent me from purchasing the seat. We just make sure we hold on to her drink if not in a spill proof cup. Overall fantastic seat and so great to see Evenflo designing state of the art seats at a reasonable price. We have 3 different brands but my boys prefer this one. It's a bit bulkier but is the only seat my boys don't complain about sitting in for extended periods. It's very easy to adjust from one child to another, and has a longer lower strap than our other brands. We are expecting our third baby and I will be getting another one of these seats. Almost impossible to feed the strap through the opening, and then when tightening it torques the crotch buckle.
