The mirror props up nicely so the baby can see herself when she lifts her head. The crinkly noise is entertaining and engaging for baby. The attached ring gives baby something to chew on during tummy time as well. As with all Fisher-Price toys, the colors and pictures are adorable. There is also a little felt latch so that the toy can become its own carrying case. The drawbacks: it seems like the felt latch will stretch out or tear and become useless over time. Also, the mirror doesn't list a maximum age, but I think once a baby is able to crawl around she will no longer be interested in this toy. My babies have enjoyed it, and I really like it too. The smaller size makes it very easy to store in the diaper bag (making it perfect for taking along to dr appointments or other situations where we have to wait). It&rsquo;s small enough to play with in the car or waiting room, and is perfect for tummy/playtime at home. The crinkle portion of it is my daughters favorite part, and she also likes the attached toy for chewing. This little toy may not have a lot of bells and whistles, but we like it more for its simplicity.
