We used it since week one ans she&rsquo;s 7 months now. I use the adapter to save on batteries but it just suddenly stopped working, which I assume an issue with the adapter. I looked for an adapter online it wasn&rsquo;t easy to find one with the same specifications and the one I found was about $50. He's now 15 lbs, the swing just doesn't work. It literally doesn't swing anymore. Hasn't worked properly for about 3-4 months. I had a feeling he would love it and I was absolutely right. First off, the little puppy dogs that hang are so cute. He can stare at them for hours a d still be so amazed. One side of the hanging puppies is a tired looking puppy and the other side of those hanging puppies is an excited happy face. It has also like a mirror like rounded bottom of the hanging toys, so baby can see his reflection. The seat itself, is absolutely adorable, with the cute puppy flap ears. The seat is so cute and soft, extra cozy for baby. The colors are cute and can be used for a boy or a girl. I can also say that it is easy to clean. It does play music. It has three modes for music. One for day time, happy music. One for nighttime, sleepy lullaby type sound. One for a nature type of sound. My sound actually likes them all. He stays smiling everytime the music is play and the puppy mobile is spinning. My favorite feature of the swing is the fact that you can use the swing it two ways. Baby can be swung in the swing either front to back swing. Or you can turn it, so back can swing side to side. I like that it come with an ac adapter to plug right up, or you can use batteries. I actually keep it plugged right up. Having the option with the batteries is a bonus though, just in case of an outage. The Fisher-Price&reg; Dots &amp; Spots Puppy Cradle 'n Swing was actually easy to assemble together. It didn't take long and it is very stable. It is a high quality product, worth the value. I highly recommend to every parent.
