I love that the back buttons so it actually closes and is easy to move around in. The snaps in the front make it convenient to nurse which I love because with my last baby I wore a robe that opened in the front and it was just never closed. So I like that I was able to be covered when guests came. The material is super soft and has some stretch to it, making feel good against my skin as well as baby's. I never really thought about how functional you need something to be even when just lying in the hospital bed until my last baby who is one now was born. It was way better than the one I used at the hospital. The material is so soft and it is so easy to get on and off and access every area I need while bein in any position. I love the fact that this gown can also be nursing accessible as well. I do wish they had different sizes, but that would be my only complaint. The material is a very soft cotton like material and it fits a little big, but that's ok because at least it fits!
