The material is sturdy and very good quality. Doesnot look like a cheap plastic furniture piece. There are somethings that I wish to improve in this chair. Fabric is very hard to remove for cleaning. Tray is very heavy, difficult to put in with one hand. I wish the seat height should be asjustable. Great question! There isn&amp;rsquo;t a set age for when a child can start using the Graco Table2Table highchair. They can start using the seat when they are comfortable sitting upright and are able to support their head on their own. This is usually around six months, but since each child develops different, we ask that parents use their best judgement in determining if their little one is ready to use the highchair.
