The bassinet was great to use in the living room as my husband and I relaxed watching a movie, cooked in the kitchen, or did anything around our house. The changing table was a saving grace to my back as it was a bit higher than waist level with the diaper caddy within reach holding everything I needed - diapers, wipes, creams, snot sucker, thermometer, etc. EVERYTHING. Now that my son has outgrown the bassinet and changing table, we use it as his main sleeper as the cushion is firm and the space is roomy.
