I was a little nervous to switch to this from a traditional sleep sack but we had no issues. This is a perfect second layer (first being PJs) to keep the kid warm during the night as he always kicks his blanket off. My only small complaint is that there are only three fabric patterns in this style while there are a ton in the other styles. The fabric and construction live up to the quality that I expect from a brand like Halo. My son is also absolutely delighted by this sleep sack. I think he likes the fact that this one resembles pants at the bottom (all of our previous sleep sacks look closer to sleeping bags at the bottom), but whenever I pick up this one up he just starts giggling. The one thing I didn't love about this one is that because this one doesn't constrain his legs, it is easier for him to wander around/attempt to escape the crib. However, it does prevent him from taking off his pjs which he's recently shown interest in.
