The first two nights without the Duo, we would wake up with a panic feeling that we missed something. Now with the Duo, we sleep well and are not worried about missing an event overnight. It gave me the peace of mind to sleep and not worry about every sound our baby made. It is nice to have the vitals and video all in one place. When you can&rsquo;t look at your phone, you can have the audio playing in the background to give you extra peace of mind while you make food or do things around the house. The only negative thing I can say, is that it doesn&rsquo;t read vitals while the baby is moving. The video monitor works well and especially like the background audio feature. The sock/vitals is the reason we bought the Owlet after hearing a close friend&rsquo;s nearly tragic experience with their newborn that stopped breathing (story has a happy ending thankfully) and were lucky enough to check on their baby just in time and then calling EMTs. The thought of that potentially happening to our newborn at a time while we might be asleep is what led us to this product. We had some concerns of false positives and the alarms driving us crazy, and being more trouble than it&rsquo;s worth - but none of that has happened. Product works exactly as intended and has shown to be reliable. Check out a few YouTube vids that compared the SPO2 and HR accuracy against hospital grade equipment and it was spot on, so we pulled the trigger. I&rsquo;m a new mom who went through 10 rounds of IVF to have him; so his health and safety is my top priority. Second to that is sleep for me! I rest easy knowing that Owlet is watching over my son and ready to alert me at a moments notice if something isn&rsquo;t right. Thank you for such a wonderful product! The monitor and base station work great. I stopped receiving push notifications for alerts about 8 months into using the product and no-one could figure out why. It was never resolved. They were great about sending out parts that broke within the 1 year warranty period, however just outside of the warranty period one of my base stations entirely stopped working. The cameras have been nothing but a hassle. I am constantly losing sound and picture from all three, and now none will show anything when I am disconnected from my wifi. I specifically purchased these so I can check on the children when they are with the sitter, and now that is a feature I have lost. Again, no-one can resolve my problems. The sock is easy to put on and the camera allows us to keep an eye on our baby during naps. We are fortunate to have a healthy baby but also were able to lend to a friend in need of monitoring her child's O2 levels, which this was perfect for. As a first time parent, I think system is great. We use the sock nightly and the camera is able to be temporarily set up next to our baby's Snoo before we have it mounted to the wall above her crib when we get to that point. There have been a few issue with the Owlet app, but for the most part we have consistently been able to keep an eye on our baby as she sleeps. One of us was up all night making sure he was breathing. We decided to get the Owlet... it was by far the single most valuable investment we made in our baby. Sure it went off many times due to sock placement etc. which annoyed us. This was 3.5 years ago.. so maybe this has been improved. The company even sent us a new one just to be sure it wasn&rsquo;t defective. However... we will never forget the afternoon we put our 3 month baby down for a nap and the &ldquo;REAL ALARM&rdquo; went off. The one where he wasn&rsquo;t getting enough oxygen. We tried to wake him. He wouldn&rsquo;t wake up... we were finally able to get him to open his eyes and he took a big deep Breath... panic turned to relief... We will never know for sure if that could have been the day... all I know is we are sooo incredibly grateful for the Owlet and the technology for some peace of mind. It&rsquo;s worth every penny. Forget the jumpy thing, forget the walkers.. spend it on this.
