While my child is too young to use the bottle, I am able to review based on ease of use and design. In terms of using the bottle, assembly of parts and cleaning, I was very pleased. All parts are very straight forward to put together and take apart. Cleaning was simple and easy to reach all areas of the bottle. The design, specifically the width of the bottle, is my only con. The width is a bit too wide. It is difficult to hold, comfortably, in my hand. With our first baby we had to use bottles exclusively when our babies developed some intolerances to milk. Compared to other bottles these were the easiest bottles to use. With our third baby we got to try these out when needing to supplement and they did not disappoint. I am very impressed with how easy they are to clean, to hold and to prep milk in. I recommend these bottles to all my friends who are having babies and think they are a staple for every baby! The nipple seems a little more elongated than other bottles I've tried, which I like because it helps achieve a good latch. This bottle is easy to clean because it has a nice, wide mouth! While the bottle does have a wide mouth, that does not compromise grip as it's slightly indented in the center. Our Natural bottles occasionally have an air sucking sound, but we haven't encountered this with the Anti-Colic bottles (and neither seems to cause any unnecessary gas/discomfort). We used another brand of bottles - with many more parts! - with our older daughter and definitely prefer the Avent bottles this time around. My baby took to these bottles right away and is even able to hold them independently, which I was concerned about given the width of these bottles but it was not a problem. We have not had any issues with leaking and the bottles are a breeze to clean since they only have a few parts. The design of these bottles work, as we have not had any problems with gas or air. Even better, my child easily goes back and forth from the breast to bottle without issue. I would highly recommend these bottles especially for moms looking to compliment breastfeeding. The bottles are simple to assemble and disassemble for washing, which is great. We do paced feeding since he's mostly breastfed and the flow seemed a little faster than others that we've used. The pink is a cute touch but the design of the bottle isn't aesthetically appealing to me but that's personal preference. My baby is breastfed but takes a few bottles a day and has been pretty picky about which bottles he will take. After a few minutes of playing around with this bottle, he took it and has been taking it since. He hasn't had any gas or colic issues with the bottle which is always important with a bottle. It is a wide neck bottle which makes it great for cleaning and doesn't require any special brushes. The only negative with being a wide neck bottle is that it doesn't fit nicely into bottle pockets on diaper bags, but if that isn't a deal breaker for you don't let it stop you buying this. My preference has always been bottle that are easy to clean and reassemble, which these are. The nipple is a softer type one which my baby favors. My baby takes to bottles easily and had no hesitation to drinking from this bottle at any point. I would consider switching to this Avent bottle if the bottle had a different design. I have small hands and the bottle is quite wide without any part in the middle to grip unless you have larger hands. I prefer the bottles that have the more hourglass design than these full round ones. When my baby decides he wants to try and hold the bottle himself, he will not be able to due to the design. We loved these bottles. With only three parts, it is easy to clean which is a huge must when I am looking for bottles for my infant. The opening at the top is an adequate size for easy addition of breast milk and the wide bottle makes it easy for me to hold. It is also light weight compared to other bottles I have tried. The nipple is firm yet soft enough for my infant who bottles and is breastfed. This bottle is super easy to clean and assemble with only 3 parts that I have to wash unlike the one we use now that has a somewhat hard to clean vent system that has gotten moldy once. I do not have to worry about mold with this bottle. Since I first started using it I have noticed that baby swallows less air and does not get fussy as much anymore. He has also been spitting up less often. I mostly breastfeed and my baby took this nipple very well. I tried this out on two 1 month old twins with formula and then with breast milk in the bottle twice a day for 2 weeks. I noticed they had less crying spells after feeling, less colic and didn't spit up as much when I burped them. They latched on right away and were able to drink the whole bottle (9 ounces) without fussing, pushing it out of their mouths, or spitting up. They are easy to clean and very portable. Now that i had my second son i primarily breast feed but when i return to work i need a bottle that's going to reduce that air and with this bottle it integrated into the nipple flexes to allow air into the bottle to prevent vacuum build up and vents it towards the back of the bottle. My son has always struggled with gas during feedings and we have tried multiple brands of anti-colic bottles to try to resolve the issue. Most of them seemed to have worked fairly well, but either had faults in the design of the bottle (ex: poor venting design causing the nipple to collapse during feedings) or involved putting together and cleaning multiple small parts, which, as minor of an issue as it seems, can turn into a tedious task. These bottles seemed to work well as far as reducing gas during feedings and only had 3 parts! They are easy enough for my son to hold on his own and are super easy to clean. No vent issues as far as collapsing nipples, which definitely makes for a less frustrated baby. I used them with my second child who is breastfed, doesn't have colic, and usually uses Dr. Browns bottles while I am at school. She had no trouble with the wider nipple. I love how simple and easy to clean these bottles are. No need for special bottle brushes! If you use a lot of bottles in a day this is a great choice. Every bottle manufacturer claims to reduce gasiness and a near real nipple experience. I can't speak to either of those claims because I noticed no difference. All together a good bottle.
