Just takes a little longer to push both buttons and almost impossible if your hands are wet from doing the dishes. It's easy to install. My 5 yr old can open it to get what she needs from the cabinet, so it's pretty easy to unlock to access what you need. I bought more for my fireplace doors and entertainment center cabinets. Our little one is just started to walk around and loves grabbing onto the cabinet handles. They still have a tiny give, but he is safe and the cabinets stay closed! I have limited strength in my hands and this will be returned. I found this more difficult than just using a simple plastic bag and tieing knots with the handles. That plastic bag works better but doen's look as nice. Don't waste your money, time and effort.
