<span itemprop="description">At first, this tub was working out fine. But now that my baby is getting bigger, I'm supposed to transition to Stage 2 and this just does not work for my guy. He can't sit up on his own yet so he's just constantly slipping and sliding down and very uncomfortable. As others have said, the clips are SO hard to remove. I have to wash the sling after every bath because it gets a terrible mildew smell to it. I'd just recommend finding a different tub to buy</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this for my newborn and he hates it. He did not enjoy using it in newborn mode as half of his body is not under water and is exposed and gets cold.
We moved the sling to the next mode and it doesn’t support him at all, I have no idea how ir would support any baby. So I can’t use it alone, by husband has to hold him and I have to wash him. It’s not great. I would not recommend.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I usually love Skip-Hop products, so I was very excited to receive this as a baby shower gift. It worked all right for our baby girl at the beginning, but rather quickly she seemed too long for stage 1 of the sling- where she was kicking the top of the end of the tub. The clips are really difficult to move, but we moved them to stage 2 and now she just seems miserable. She is slouched down in it and it takes 2 of us to bathe her so she doesn’t slip into the water. The stickers also have been coming off and leaving chunks of sticker in the water while bathing. We are looking at getting something different now, but upset because this bath was supposed to last her awhile!</span>

<span itemprop="description">It’s a good size bath tub and I like the sling but who’s idea was it to put all the warning labels INSIDE the tub? Every time I gave my baby a bath, bits of the sticker would wash off into the tub. Then the adhesive underneath would be sticky and fuzz would stick to it. I had to use goo gone to get it all off. I also had a lot of issues getting the sling unclipped as others mentioned. There are better baby baths out there.</span>

I did not have any issues with mold or mildew, I made sure to dry it out really well each time. I did not give my baby a bath every day when he was a newborn / small baby because they don't need it. So maybe that's why I didn't have an issue.</span>

However, the mesh sling gets a horrible mold smell after only one bath so we have to constantly wash it. It makes the entire kitchen smell if you don’t wash it often with detergent and white vinegar. Also, we couldn’t get the warning stickers off, so now little bits of sticker constantly come off when we bathe our little one. I would not recommend this tub to others.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I was very happy to use the tub until the 3 large warning label stickers were peeling off into the water. I feel like this is a hazard as I found little pieces of the paper stuck in my baby’s hair and on his skin. All I could think of was if he has this paper on his hands and puts his hands in his mouth, then he could possibly ingest the paper particles. Not to mention, I just spent over an hour trying to scrub off the stickers, however the sticky adhesive is still stuck on the sides of the tub. If I were to dry the tub with a towel, fuzzies from the towel would stick to the residue.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I have been using this tub for 16 weeks. The stickers flaked off early on, but they are gone now and don't bother us. My sling also hasn't gotten moldy like some others.
My biggest complaint is that the 1st configuration wasn't useful for very long for my longer baby. He started kicking himself mostly out of the tub. We then had to switch to configuration 2 at 4 months, but it isn't supportive enough to keep him from wigging down into the tub and potentially submerging his head into the water. It hasn't happened but he sinks down so quickly that it easily could if my husband and I didn't both participate in bath time. We have to hold his butt in place in the sling so he doesn't slide down and drown in while the other bathes him. It just feels really dangerous for babies in that in between stage of not sitting up alone but being too big for the newborn configuration. Perhaps if your baby is tiny and doesn't wiggle it wouldn't be an issue.
It's unfortunate,too, because my baby loves the tub. He kicks and splashes and laughs...although that's what causes him to slide.
We will be looking for a new option.
I guess there's a reason it needs so many warning stickers.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a great product. However, had I known how difficult it would be to get the warning stickers off I can honestly say I wouldn't have bought it. I liked the size and the hook on this baby bath and it fits in our bathroom space well (a little slimmer than similar products on the market). Do bear in mind that it's quite heavy so if you do plan to hang it, it'll need to be somewhere able to take the weight. However, the warning stickers are a nightmare to peel off! It took me an hour to take off each one. There are three. Why you would need three labels next to each other warning you that babies can drown in water, I don't know! Especially when it's also mentioned on the label on the sling too. These labels also could be put on the base of the bath or the outside so you don't need to take them off. They are placed on the inside where the water goes and had seen some reviews saying that if you don't get the labels off they chip off in water and stick to baby's skin when wet. A lesson in how to take a great product and with one mindless action, replace the potential enjoyment of the thing with an intense anger for the hours of your life you'll never get back!</span>
