I only used it once as i had purchased it to increase low milk supply but by the time i got it i had no milk left (no fault to medela). I do feel that it is extremely overpriced. I feel its an underused system that could benefit many women and babies were it more reasonably priced and or available through insurance. My last complaint is one ive heard a few women mention, the in ability to mix formula in the bottle. Upon closer inspection there was a hole in the middle of the tube rendering it useless. For the price I would have expected a better quality product. I got to use a temporary one from Medela given by the hospital and loved it. For some reason my baby dont seem to get the supplement out of this one. I see the supplement be pulked into the tube but after feeding for 30 minutes per breast the bottle is still full. Also, this is not easy to clean as the bottle is really narrow. For the price it should include a small brush for cleaning. This system works fairly well but is definitely way too expensive for what it is. I also find that I have to maintain a constant squeeze on the bottle to keep baby sucking, and the hard plastic is not the best design for this. It is very tiring on the hand, unlike the starter system which has a flexible area to squeeze. I&rsquo;ve also experienced some leaks but figured out that the bottle was too tight on the valve. It worked maybe 5% of the time. It continued to leak no matter what I tried. Not just drops but a steady stream of a leak.
