I recieved a replacement and immediately noticed that the power button must be push “way down” for it to come on. <span itemprop="description">I would recommend this product for older folks as well as babies. Us older people have swallowing problems from age or medical problems. This unit was perfect for me. not big and cumbersome and nice fit on the counter. It blends and purées perfectly. Easy to use once you figure out the somewhat vague instructions. It took me a bit of pushing the buttons but pence I understood the process it’s super. So my message to the manufacturer would be to be clearer with the operation of your unit. A simple one through 4 steps would do it. Plus add why the cut out on the lid. It matches up with the cutout on the body. Why it’s there is not mentioned. I assume it help with the steamer system or possibly to help dry the food cup after washing. That’s it. But— it’s a great little machine with a reasonable price. You will be happy with it -once you understand the instructions.</span>

The container to steam the food is a bit small so I can only make about 1 jar of food at a time but other than thought I absolutely love this.
