Unless I was literally holding on to my son, the pillow would roll forward and he would fall off of it, or he would stretch his legs out and roll over top of it and do a face-plant into the floor (maybe a square pillow would be better??). The crab is very loud and there is no off switch. It is not removable so I had to cut it off. The mirror and teething toy are attached by &quot;velcro&quot; which does not hold (I found this to be a benefit since with the toys removed my son had more fun playing with the tabs that held them). The crinkle tabs (leaves) are also fun for a few minutes. My husband uses the pillow for lumbar support but that's about all it's good for. The pillow part is a sort of memory foam so even though it looks big it compresses. Easy to carry around. Many different things to play with (teether, crinkly leaves, rattle, different textures, etc) as well as realistic images for later use. My only complaint is the crab. It cannot turn off and I find it rather loud for something that is close to baby. You have to take out the batteries if you don't want it to turn on.
