Just swing the door in the stay-open position and it will stay wide open until you choose to close it.

<span itemprop="description">We purchased this gate for our new puppy. Has worked out great with its easy if movement we’ve been able to place it in lots of different areas as a barrier. It has some weight too it so wouldn’t want to carry it far distances but isn’t too bad for moving it about at home.</span>

Hello, Due to the mesh fabric sides of this playpen, it is not suitable for use near or around fireplaces or heat sources. We recommend our Mayfair Playpens for use around fireplaces.
