Building it is pretty simple as the instructions are really easy to follow and everything comes in handy numbered bags so you know which bits go with each part though it is time consuming to do so, so before you start I think this took me well over an hour (but I did have the kids nipping my head). Ultimately the van is the real attraction here and it's a solid and well put together model that opens up and accomadates the figures well, my kids absolutely love playing with it.
