As a FTM, I didn&rsquo;t know much about swaddles and there are so many options out there. Add to that each baby&rsquo;s different preferences&hellip; These swaddles really don&rsquo;t work for us. There&rsquo;s a gap where the zipper ends and where the velcroed wings are and baby can easily get their little hands out, which then makes them wiggle some more and gets them frustrated, which ends up waking them and&hellip; goodbye sleep! The material is nice but that&rsquo;s about it. Even getting baby in is a struggle. I personally don&rsquo;t understand the great reviews, I guess these parents have babies that sleep well to begin with. I prefer these to the other brand that we have. The material is thinner and less bulky. The velcro isn't prickly on mom's skin during nighttime feeds. The only downside is that the velcro is extremely sticky so is difficult to seperate quietly if needed. I also like that the bottom end opens up completely. My son would NOT sleep without a swaddle, but he kept wriggling until they would come loose. These are snug and secure, wriggle proof swaddles. Also, if he needed a diaper change I would have to completely unwrap him, change him, and rewrap him, but not with these! These swaddles have little zippers at the bottom that you can unzip to change the baby! They don&rsquo;t get cold or feel unsecured because you can leave the swaddle around them while you change them, which increases the chance that they will remain or drift back off to sleep.
