I think this pump is a great buy. At first when taking it out of the box, I was hesitant because it seemed like there were a lot of parts. However, after assembling withthe provided instructions, I found it was very easy to do. The breast shield insert is very comfortable. Pumping is not my favorite thing to do, but the provided gel insert made it more tolerable. I tried it without the gel insert and it pinched a bit. Very convenient for on the go pumping and it was especially quiet during use! Was able to pump my usual quantity of milk with a manual hand pump and hands didn't cramp during expression. It completely comes apart for cleaning, which is a huge deal to me. It comes with a silicone insert, which I found comfortable. It also came with a lid for the bottle so you can store it on the go. The pump is easy to use, no cramping hands after, and can be sanitized in the evening quickly in the microwave bags. The only reason i gave this pump 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the number of parts. On more than one occasion i forgot a piece (or two) and was unable to use the pump. If it could be two pieces plus the milk bottle that would be easy, fast and perfect in my opinion. After chasing after an infant all day I would rather hook up to a double electric with a hands free pumping bra and let it do all the work while I drink some much needed coffee, but in some cases that isn&rsquo;t realistic and this is a great alternative. Both the Lansinoh and the Evenflo had my hand cramping after a while but with the Lansinoh I had milk leaking down the flange and onto my breast while pumping and I didn&rsquo;t have that problem with the Evenflo. I love that the Evenflo is easy to assemble and clean and can be thrown into the diaper bag for a quick night out. I've been breastfeeding for about 3 months now &amp; this little guy helps me out with my pumping schedule. I pump several times a day &amp; I do freeze some of the milk for later use. Taking it apart, washing, &amp; putting it back together is very simple &amp; easy.This is great for the moms who want to pump breastmilk without the expense or bulk of an electric pump.Great for on the go &amp; traveling, it's really easy to use, it doesn't take up too much space &amp; you can pop it in your diaper bag or purse. I pump regularly as I work full time and have been using a double electric pump. I tried out the evenflo manual pump last night and was surprised by the comfort and ease of use. My milk started flowing quickly and the rubber edging around the pump made it fit nicely and comfortably. While it was much slower than my electric pump and my hand was tired by the end, this is a great pump for the occasional use and use when no outlet is available. I won't be trading in my electric pump for daily use but this is a great alternative for certain occasions. I do plan on taking this pump with me on vacation where I will only be pumping occasionally so I do not have to lug my large heavy pump with me. The evenflo is lightweight and won't take up much room in my suitcase. I also feel this will be useful when I need a quick pump in the car if I'm out for the day and need to relieve my breasts. My husband and I went skiing one day and I had no easy way to pump. This product would have been great for those type of occasions. Overall I am happy with the product. As luck would have it, I received this pump as a gift from the weeSpring Parent Panel and after using this Evenflo manual pump for the first time, my mind was completely changed! This product collected more milk than my usual electric pump and it did so in significantly less time. I will admit, it does pinch a bit when you begin using it, but that little discomfort is well worth the extra milk and time it saves. This pump is also light and fits nicely in a diaper bag for pumping on the go. It has been easy to clean and assemble. An added bonus is that I no longer have to transport my awkward and heavy electric pump every day and can now just clean and toss this pump in my bag every morning. Prior to using this pump I was unable to save any breast milk beyond what my child needed every day at daycare, now that I've begun using this pump every day, I have started being able to procure more breast milk and start saving some in my freezer.
