They take turns and enjoy for hours. It's such a fun interactive toy for kids that love music. There are three settings-accoustic, electric and howl. My children enjoy the sing along songs they know and strumming real strings just like on Daddy's accoustic. Very colorful and well made. Removable strap. Lots of sounds and buttons to press. My favorite is the dog's nose to press, it stops! Has a volume control and this overall is a special toy to introduce children to music. If you have children who love music and dogs this is the perfect toy. I love the colors and the howling dog design is adorable. I got this guitar with my 1-year-old in mind, but my 3-year-old is having even more fun with it. She loves playing it for him and making him laugh with her silly songs. Even my 7 year old son is making up fun songs with this guitar! This is a hard one for kids to ever get sick of because there are so many different songs, plus they can make their own. It has 20 different instrumental songs and 9 (super cute, not annoying, puppy themed) songs with lyrics. When the strum button is pressed, the guitar will play pre-made beats when the child strums the guitar. If you press it again, you can actually strum the guitar and make your own songs. It also has all of the chords as buttons that the kids can press, a whammy bar to add even more originality to their songs, and you can change how the guitar sounds. With a flip of the knob the guitar will change from electric to acoustic to howling dog. There are so many combinations of songs and sounds you can achieve with this adorable little guitar, my kids will have hours and hours of fun with it! The strap is a great size for a two or three-year-old, and is removable, but is not adjustable. One of my favorite features, as a mom, is the volume knob! It is light in weight and the correct size for a toddler to hold like a real guitar and play. The usage is very easy and the play book along with it helps a lot to play different songs. They adore it. I cannot lie, it drives me a bit crazy because they are always asking where it is and fighting over it. It makes a ton of noise but it is really cute. It is dropped all the time and it has survived all of the falls. I do love that is has 20 different songs, I would get tired of it if they just played the same one all the time. It barks and the strings actually make strum noises when you strum them. My three year old wears it around her neck and dances all over with it. It has a volume control button which is great and if you touch the nose it stops making noise. It has a lot of buttons and settings, great little toy for keeping your kids entertained! She was so excited when I pulled it out of the box! Even though she doesn't yet want to wear it like a guitar, she has lots of fun playing with it and pushing all of the buttons. She was even playing a scale with the buttons this morning. My husband and I like all the little sound effects it makes, like the sound of plugging in an electric guitar and the little whimper if you leave it on but aren't playing with it. And of course, we love that it has an off button and a cute but somewhat discreet stop button on the nose to stop the little jingles.
