First of all the bassist was easy to put together with a simple yet modern design, great quality, tough clothes, and not too heavy but sturdy base make it really safe and secure for the baby. We have a low bed frame so this bassinet was perfect in every way, very easy to reach over to take the baby out and put her back! The bedding fits the board perfectly with no gaps or folds. And i loved the breathable mesh wall/sides it is brilliant keeping baby visible and well ventilated and the best part is that everything is removable and machine washable. Living in two story house it is hard to do house chores while a highly demanding newborn is sleeping upstairs so I find this portable bassinet very convenient to move around the house and I really appreciate the canopy with the complete coverage it is perfect for outdoor activity to keep insects away during summer not to mention the nice carrying bag it came with. This bassinet is absolutely amazing for sure. I am so happy I have this for my baby. First let me tell you that she sleeps so soundly in this. Next I want to tell you all about the nice things this has going for it. After unpacking it I had it up and ready to go in 5-10 min. Usually my husband helps with this stuff but this was so easy to do on my own. The bassinet sits about 18 inches from the floor. The walls of the bassinet are about 5-6 inches tall giving you a total of about 23 inches. They are also made out of a mesh material that can be cleaned easily and allow you to see into the bassinet while the baby is sleeping. The bassinet is made out of rolled tubes which make it very light weight to move I bet this thing only weighs about 10 pounds. There is a removable solid material canopy to help keep the sun out of the baby&rsquo;s eyes. We keep the canopy on because it so nice. It also has curved rockers on the bottom that allow it to rock back and forth. This was a life saver for me because she loves to rock as she falls asleep. Visits to friends and family without babies are so nice now. After pushing a button on each side of the bassinet you can collapse it and slide it in the included carrying bag. That&rsquo;s right its portable so if your like me this awesome thing is going every where we do! I don&rsquo;t know how we did it without this? Well not no more. The bassinet is easy to assemble/disassemble (not tools needed) with the touch of 2 buttons. We can easily fit this bassinet and be able to rock it or lock it in place easily as it fits between our bed and the wall wherever we happen to stay or at home with its compact design. The mesh walls of the bassinet afford us the ability to see and allow for easy air flow. We can easily bring it along when visiting friends and family, it collapses down into a small carry bag and is very lightweight. I love that it comes with a cover that can go around the entire top so we can even use it outside and the bugs cannot get in. It's a very simple sturdy design and was extremely easy to put together which any new parent can tell you is a huge boon. It's a very basic, no frills bed. We originally bought a pack and play that had a bassinet to keep alongside the bed which has been moved to a different room, and while I do miss having easy access to its storage compartments, it just wasn't worth the physical troubles of trying to get the baby in and out of it particularly in the middle of the night. Plus the mesh walls and side door give me easy visibility and access to the baby which makes reaching over to soothe him, or take in and out in the middle of the night awesome. I really wish I'd had this bassinet when we first brought him home as I was recovering from a cesarean. I was hesitant to purchase initially since there were few reviews, but I'm glad I took a chance. Honestly the hardest part was opening the box. It comes inside the travel bag and all you have to do is pop on the legs canopy and rocking rails and BAM! Done. Sheet is already on the mattress pad , mesh is already around the bassinet, everything is basically ready to go. It looks super roomy and comfortable, doesn't take up a ton of space and is easy to collapse and place back in the bag for storage or travel. It looks really sleek and modern so you don't have to worry about it bringing down the look of the room like with most items of it's nature.
