It's super easy. There's nothing to put together. You just take it out of the package and it's ready to play! I also like that it's very contained - there are not little pieces sticking off (that might break or hurt someone). It's just well constructed as a single piece. And it feels really nice - the actual wooden top to it just screams durable and quality. The graphics are cute and colorful on top. The drums are super responsive as well - you can just barely tap them if you want, which is nice for young babies just trying to figure it out. But they work well too for harder or faster hits too - my 5 year old was able to really hit on the drums and the toy had no issues - it held up and even the audio kept up with fast, repetitive sounds. Also, the animal sounds instead of traditional drum sounds (chicken &amp; sheep) were a huge hit. Even I had to play a bit with the chicken and sheep drum - it's pretty funny. But, I do caution that I could see it getting annoying if you had to listen to it over and over again for awhile. Overall, excellent quality toy that will get used and not show wear and tear on it.
