I love how there are multiple ways to carry your baby in it. You can have her legs hanging out while she's awake or you can cradle her up inside so she can fall asleep. I wanted a carrier that was easy to use and quick to throw on. In that aspect, the K'tan delivers! However, two things I did not like we're that the wrap is not one size fits all. I originally purchased the small - I'm 5'3 and 140 lbs - but found that the wrap did not hold my baby close enough. Secondly, the wrap did not support my baby's head enough. Additionally, I thought the material was not breathable. This carrier is essentially that. I didn't like having to figure out how much fabric I'd need in each section for a traditional wrap, but I wanted the softness of a wrap vs a structured carrier. This does the same thing without all the effort. I did size down after reading reviews, it tends to stretch and sink a little as you wear it with the weight of the baby, but even if I hadn't figured that out to begin with, it would've been worth the time to exchange it, it's just that perfect. It feels like I've got her tucked in a t-shirt, and she sleeps in it for hours, even at three months old, while I get stuff done around the house. There are tons of video tutorials online, and I was able to get her in it within two minutes after opening the box, after watching only one video. This is the most natural feeling carrier I've tried yet. It's just too bad I didn't have one with my first or during the first month with this one.
