The side padding perfected cradled by belly so that there was no space between my belly and the bed which led to much less pain when turning or trying to get up. In fact, of the 4-5 time I got up throughout the night, I only felt a pinch in my nerve once. Compared to shooting pain in my hips/lower back without this maternity belt, it was amazing.I would highly recommend this item for any expecting mom. Last night was the first night in several weeks that I was able to get a full nights rest because of the Babymoov dream belt. The padding on the sides is the perfect size to fill in the grooves of my waist and keep my back aligned while holding my belly perfectly in place. I cannot recommend this product enough!
