I just love the different range of ambient colors you can choose from. My 15-month-old son loves staring into the light and watching the Hygro puff out vapor. The best features of the Hygro is the humidity detector paired along with the time setting. It&rsquo;s nice to be able to set a target humidity range and let the Hygro work for us by automatically turning itself on and off until it reaches our preferred humidity level. This feature works perfectly and we don&rsquo;t have to worry about over saturating the room as the Hygro automatically shuts off once it reaches the desired setting. While this feature makes the Hygro shine against other humidifiers, the operation is unfortunately much more complicated than it should be. I wished the buttons were more tactile or analog as it&rsquo;s difficult to know if Hygro registered your tap when trying to work in settings sometimes. The instructions provided were clear, however again it seems far too complicated and I think this would benefit by just adding a simple power on button along a simplified interface. I own three other brands of humidifiers and this was the most complicated of the three to operate. If you&rsquo;re not very techie savvy, and/or you just want a plug and play type of humidifier, this may not be for you as you do need to get use to setting the humidity level and timer (if desired). One more thing I wanted to note, I did feel that the water tank cap could be better designed, it didn&rsquo;t feel super secure and/or could use a better gasket around the neck. And let me tell you, it's amazing! This thing comes with so many great features ! Has a big capacity tank(0.7 Gal), the top can move 360&deg;, so you can have the most blow whichever direction you desire. The coolest features are the touch screen and the 7 different colors tank. The screen displays the temp in the room and the humidity percentage. You can set it up at what you want, just by keeping the auto button pressed for like 3-4 sec. We use it mostly at nights, throughout the night. A water tank lasts us about 3 nights. It's very quiet so it doesn't bother baby at all. It also has a timer and it's super easy to clean. Rinse the tank in between uses and that's pretty much it. I definitely recommend it. The device is quiet when misting the room except for the sound of water dripping within the tank as it is drawn by the pump or motor. The gurgling and water dripping sound can be bothersome if you expected otherwise from.
