Well he is now 4 months and we have seen great progress with the pillow.We use it so much (at night he still sleeps with no pillow) that it has become flattened on one side. I decided we should get a new one and when I saw the Lovenest Plus I thought I would give it a try.It just arrived and I am SO HAPPY. It is actually thicker and more padded than the original style pillow (about 2x as thick) and it is a perfect step up for his now larger head.I think the age recommendations on the listing should be changed. I believe the Lovenest Plus pillow would have been too large for my baby when he was younger. I would recommend the orignal Lovenest for 0-2 months and the Lovenest Plus for 3+ months.
