The bowl does not have a strong enough suction as some of the others which is very unfortunate. We don't use the bambou bowl as much as our plastic bowls, because the suction on those are stronger. It&rsquo;s thick but lightweight and the suction is pretty strong. The sides of the bowl are steep which makes scooping easy. The silicone spoon has a fat handle that is easy for my little guy to grab and the material is soft and smooth. They feel good to the touch, good for teething (the spoon) and well made.
