I have tried many other storage devices, but none of them would properly stick to my bathroom tile. The only dislike I had with this product was the amount of time it takes to secure it to the wall. It is simple to do, but the instructions do say to wait 24 hours after applying before it is exposed to moisture. That's tough to do in a bathroom used by multiple people. Otherwise, I really like this product. It's cute, does the job, and allows all of the toys to drain. The Frog Pod is a great addition to his aqua-play because it is durable enough to strain out even the heavier items and the water drains out easily for storage. Its cute froggy design appeals to the little guy, who has started incorporating it into his play, including straining his toys out, a much-needed first step in teaching him to clean up after himself. The only real drawback is the adhesive hangers for attaching it to the tub wall. First of all, we live in an old Colonial house in the Northeast, and with less-than-efficient heating it's hard to maintain the consistent 70-degree temperature over a prolonged period (as detailed in the instructions) to ensure a good attachment. Second, we are renters, so using adhesive strips to attach it is going to prove an annoyance when it comes time to move. Heavy-duty suction cups might have been a better option. The pod adheres to the bath tub wall securely and with ease. I love that it conveniently holds all my son's toys and let's them drain so that they stay clean. The design is very cute and durable. I also like the fact that there are enough holes for all the toys to drain. The hole by the handle is very wide and a lot of the smaller toys just fall right out, which can be annoying. Maybe a mesh liner would keep them all inside the body. The frog is very long so if I don't remove the entire body from the holder my son can't reach the top to take out the toys. It's great that it looks exactly like a frog. One animal he sees everyday and now knows what a frog looks like. Our daughter is obsessed with frogs so she was in love with it right out of the box. She's also obsessed with bath toys so the Frog Pod has been great storage. I was looking forward to its arrival and now that i have it I can honestly say, it is awesome. The frog pod makes clean up easy, with one scoop (ok maybe more than one), all the bath toys are neatly stored away and draining/ drying. Gone are the days of stepping into the shower only to have one of those toys that was precariously placed on top of another in a corner, you know the one i am talking about, topple over and hit me in the foot. I love this thing. The only thing I would change is the wall attachment. I would prefer suction cups over the adhesives. Don't get me wrong, the adhesive is super strong and it works great, i just like the idea of being able to move it around if i wanted to. It was super easy to put together and attach to our tub wall. I had a small bucket that I stored bath toys in previously and I love this so much more. The fact that I don't have to drain the tub and let the toys dry then put them away has made bath time so much better. All I have to do is scoop them up before I get little man out of the tub and rinse them off! My little guy loves to look at it and for some reason laughs hysterically at it. I read that other people had issues having it fall but I haven't had an issue and it feels super sturdy on the wall. I feel like if you follow the install directions and let it stick to the wall for 24 hours before attaching the body where the toys go then there shouldn't be a problem. I do wish it came with suction cup attachment for when we go on extended vacations but I for sure think the adhesive that is included is better.
