The pod itself is a beautiful gray color. This travel pod is gender neutral and could be used for either a boy or a girl. The included fitted sheet it super cute, I love the owl design. I did wash and dry the sheet prior to using and it came out as good as new. Setting up this pod was so simple! Within a few seconds it was ready for my little one. The frame of the pod is great quality and extremely sturdy. I like how I can hear the four different clicks which gives me piece of mind that the pod is set up correctly and is secure. The removable pad seems very comfortable and is water resistant. The breathable mesh sides ensures there is plenty of airflow. I have used this pod so many times since receiving it. I have used this pod at the park, to visit family and even in my back yard. The pod itself folds up just as easy as it sets up. It is extremely lightweight which makes transporting it a breeze. The handle on the pod is a great feature. I love that I can just grab this pod and be on the go! My one month old seems very content and relaxed when she is in this pod. I would recommend using it on harder surfaces as softer surfaces, such as grass, tend to make baby sink into the provided mattress a bit. It just doesn&rsquo;t hold its shape as well as it does on a harder surface. It is easy to unfold, however, sometimes I needed to use my chin or a knee to stabilize it as I was unfolding and folding, which is to be expected, but may make things difficult for anyone that can&rsquo;t put baby down or has a disability. I don&rsquo;t know if a small spring system may be beneficial to get the pod into position to lock in place quicker? Just some thoughts! When the package came in I noticed that the zip tie holding it in place was broken and the tape appeared to have been removed before so I opened the package to make sure everything was good and the mattress was moldy on the bottom. Turns out outnumbered little one loves it. We have it set up on the dresser at night and I can move it to whatever room I&rsquo;m in during the day. Easy to fold up and take with us when we go out to visit. Only downside is the sheet that it comes with is a little slick and so our son tends to rotate when we don&rsquo;t put down another light blanket to lay on. He will fit in it for a long time it has plenty of space to grow. Super easy to fold up and take in the car to family members houses / cottage. Weighs next to nothing! definitely don&rsquo;t ever carry your baby in it while transporting it though as it isn&rsquo;t very strong. Length-wise, it is getting pretty tight, maybe 10cm space, and she moves herself around on her back with her legs, so managed to get herself stuck sideways the other day - she isn&#39;t going to be in it for much longer. The instructions say if the baby can push themselves up on hands and knees, they are over 15lb, or can sit unaided, then they are too big for it.
