The gate itself is challenging to open. Templates are crap. Just use your brain and ditch the instructions..... Save yourself time and buy a different gate. It should have not been this challenging and time consuming.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I actually have two of these gates. But yesterday my three year old was opening it, as it wasn’t latched and it completely fell off and snapped on the inside. Had this happened while going down the stairs, my child would’ve been hurt immensely. I will be replacing both gates, and it won’t be Brica!!!! to the naked eye there was nothing wrong with this gate, until it snapped. And fell on top of my three-year-old. Luckily it was the main level side and not the stair side.</span>
