Now can do it in seconds so gate is down and back to the old white plastic one because well I would rather have a big ugly white one that keeps the child safe then a wooden esthetic one that at 13 months a child can just bust through</span>

<span itemprop="description">We bought this little over a year ago. It is elegant and sturdy but doesnt work well if you have baseboards. Our toddler also figured out how to open it quickly by putting their weight on the top portion where the latch is rendering unless in the end. It does have two secondary base latches but are only made of plastic so they can break easily with enough force.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Installed this gate using the tension option on a doorway, it was fast and easy. The wood railings match our dark hardwood floors, and looks great. The gate latches at the top and also secures at the bottom which you can adjust. I like that the gate door can swing either way, and the gate door can be left open; it doesn't close automatically or make a loud noise.</span>
