This is a good baby bottle. I'm comparing it against 2 common brands that we use a lot, Como Tomo 5 oz silicon baby bottle and Dr. Brown's 4oz glass baby bottles. This baby bottle has the following great features:_x000D_ -Wide opening, helpful specially when using powder formula. Unlike Dr Brown's 4oz bottles._x000D_ -Wide base, so it isn't easy to tilt. Unlike Como Tomo bottles (who wants to chase rolling baby bottles at 3 AM?)_x000D_ -Cap with a flat spot, so it won't roll away like both Como Tomo and Dr. Brown's._x000D_ -Easy to clean design thanks to wide opening and the bottle just being 4 parts. Dr Brown's are 6 parts and need a tiny special brush to clean._x000D_ -You can use any sterilization method._x000D_ -Bottle ring only needs 1/4 of a turn to close. Which is nice when rushing to a screaming baby._x000D_ -Slow nipple is faster than the slow Como Tomo nipple but slower than the slow Dr. Browns nipple (Level 1 nipple size). This is just for reference as the right nipple depends on the specific needs of each baby._x000D_ -Clear plastic bottle makes it easier to see the content compared to silicone but without the breaking risks of glass._x000D_ The only negative points on this bottle are:_x000D_ -It's plastic and even with all the assurances of it being free of several chemicals, well plastic is the devil of the modern days. Or at least one of the devils._x000D_ -There is no marking for half oz. All the markings are in 1oz increments._x000D_ -The markings can be a little hard to read compared to the Dr Brown's but definitely easier than the Como Tomo._x000D_ As you can see, not positive things than negative things. While they're advertised as being more breast like, I've found that the wide mouth bottles were not his favorite, and a lactation consultant told me that the narrower bottles are more natural for breastfed babies._x000D_ That being said, if your child is used to a wider bottle, I think overall these seem to be sturdy bottles and my toddler enjoys using them. We haven't had any issues with them leaking and they wash well. This bottle is easy for me to hold, as well as my husband, and weirdly feels like glass but it's actually plastic! Easy to wash, and sterilized well in my bottle sterilizer. The lid stays on securely, and the nipple is a true slow flow that compares to the dr browns that I use as well per instructions from my baby's pediatrician. Okay, I never write reviews, but this bottle system from quark has helped us so much that I have to! I just had my third baby, and like my other two she has tongue and lip ties. She also has a high palate. Around week 5 she started really struggling with bottles. I didnt know what to do because she couldn't latch onto them or get suction, and she ended up gulping and choking down milk which made her really gassy. After some research and checking on babylist, I ordered these, and the difference is insane! The latch is the most similar to breastfeeding that I've ever seen in a bottle. She's able to get suction on it and is so much calmer when she drinks. It's also taking her probably half the time.
