The material is soft and breathable. Timeless design. I was concerned about long sleeves and the warm weather, but was assured that a baby lives in a 98 degree bubble for 9 months and will need to be kept well covered and warm after birth. Makes sense. So, this keeps the tiny head and toes covered too. And it being a 2 piece, I won’t have to worry about tugging the ambilical remnant. It’s also perfect for buckling in the car seat for the first time.</span>
