I'll be honest it was quite a hassle, but toys R us and the manufacturer were excellent with service. We had a defective piece that wouldn't assemble properly and the manufacturer mailed us a new piece with no hesitation. It's pretty light weight and not the highest of quality &quot;wood&quot; but it does the job and looks great in the nursery. We bough the change table as well and have been using both for quite some time now. When you convert to a full size bed, you need to purchase bed rails separately. They are model F06454. They will connect the headboard and foot board. The appropriate mattress dimensions are no smaller than 27 1/4&amp;quot; x 51 5/8&amp;quot;. When selecting a mattress you want to test for the appropriate fit. Place the mattress in the crib. There should be no more than 1/2&amp;quot; of space between the mattress and the crib side on any side. If the mattress is pushed to one side in the crib, you should have no more than 1&amp;quot; of space between the opposing side and the crib side. If you do, it poses a suffocation hazard and should not be used!
