The install is very difficult despite what the literature says. It's almost impossible to lock it in place. Literature also says you only need to install one time, however, this isn't reasonable if you're going to clean at all. One handed swivel is barely true when backwards facing. You'd have to be pretty strong and at an angle conducive to doing it with one hand. Additionally, cleaning anything out of the swivel tracks is difficult as well. My daughter isn't even 18 months and about 2 weeks ago she started UNDOING THE CHEST HARNESS! while I am driving! MY husbands car couldn't fit the rotating seat so he has a different one with the traditional chest clip and I have this one, she has realized that with very little pressure she can undo the button on the chest clip and once a few days ago even got her arm out so I had to quickly pull to the side of the road and re-secure her only for her to continue to undo the button. These are the things I like about it, and I find it pretty easy to get my toddler in and out because of the swivel. One thing I don&rsquo;t like about this car seat is the extremely low rear-facing LATCH limit, which is only 30 lbs. One of my cars has inflatable seatbelts and therefore we could not use this car seat in that car since my toddler is almost 30 lbs. luckily we could use it in our other car, but I found the seatbelt installation to be quite difficult compared to LATCH. The other thing I don&rsquo;t like is the SensorSafe. I was originally very excited about this feature, but we live in Arizona where it&rsquo;s currently 107 degrees and the temperature warning went off immediately after buckling my child into the car and proceeded to continue going off the entire time I was driving home, despite air conditioner on full blast. I had to disconnect the buckle from my phone when I was at a stoplight because it was getting so distracting and unsafe. A year later, I went through the aggravating process of installing this car seat into our 2021 RAV4. I have NEVER seen a car seat wobble like this! I quickly figured out that the latch system was incompatible with the RAV4. Considering this is one of the most popular family vehicles I find it a huge red flag that this compatibility was not tested by Cybex. The Sirona latch system bottoms out on the car seat before it can get tight enough. Not much else to say on that. I next attempted to install the car seat using the seat belt. Again, I had to wrestle with the car seat and deal with the poorly designed &quot;detent&quot; on the car seat angle constantly failing and crushing my hand. After I routed the seat belt through the bottom of the car seat, I had to attempt to tighten the belt and secure the seat. This was a very difficult maneuver and caused the seat belt to fold and wrinkle. The RAV4 seat belt also has a small plastic disc on the bottom of the belt that interferes with the Sirona and required extra effort to push through the seat belt clips. Once I had everything as tight as I could manage the seat was incredibly loose. Installing the load leg only seems to make this worse as the first detent that was green also lifted the Sirona off of the car seat creating a gap and making it even more unstable. I absolutely cannot recommend this car seat and I am genuinely surprised at the lack of compatibility with the RAV4. Watch the videos before hand but once you do it once it&rsquo;s not hard to install. I prefer these straps because they untangle easily. I pull them all the way out after each use and never have any issues. My baby screamed in her infant carrier so we moved her into this around 6 months. She loved it and uses it still. Notes to make it better: the magnet isn&rsquo;t big enough so the straps have to be so perfect. I pull them out all the way so it&rsquo;s really not a huge deal. And the &ldquo;clip sensor&rdquo; wasn&rsquo;t great. It would go off after 5 mins and we were still driving, other reviews said the same, I tried it. It stunk. So I just turned it off. Bought TWO of these around May- August of 2022, nothing but disappointment. Our first red flag should have been the cup holders breaking off clean after a few uses but it wasn&rsquo;t.. later that year one of the LSP broke on one of the car seats. Not even a whole year later, one car seat barely rotates, it&rsquo;s comparable to an actual workout trying to rotate it! (Yes, we&rsquo;ve tried cleaning it multiple times however that doesn&rsquo;t help). Lastly, the most annoying is BOTH of these car seats SQUEAK so loud and obnoxiously the entire drive, distance? Doesn&rsquo;t matter you can hear it driving 5 feet. In use or not, doesn&rsquo;t matter, it still squeaks. I tried to not let it bother me but it just keeps getting worse, my fear is it won&rsquo;t protect my child in the event of an accident. Especially with all of the pieces breaking off. The first time I got a critical ambient temperature notification, I was so shocked because I didn't realize how warm it was at all. I also didn't realize how long it takes to cool down my backseat. This is something I 100% would not have known without this car seat. I do really wish there was a way for the seat to know when my husband is driving our daughter in my car without me because I don't love when he takes her somewhere and all of a sudden I'm getting a child in car notification although there's no problem. I'm not sure why everyone is saying the installation is so easy, my husband is a literal engineer and he had an incredibly tough time installing this (granted he just skimmed the instructions the first time). He has installed this multiple times and still thinks it's a pain in the butt. Lastly, there is a way to make the car seat 100% unusable, if the belt tightening bar is up and the seat gets swiveled forward. The car seat will become completely unusable. When this happened, I called the 800 number, they tried walking us through the fix, but when that didn't work, they sent us a replacement with no problem. Those problems do not change my rating. This car seat is a very comfortable, high end seat. The swivel feature works perfectly, and makes getting him in and out so much easier, whether rear or front facing. I also like the fact that the load Legg reduces recoil in a collision, but also eliminates the need for a tether, when forward facing, which is convenient and eases install. I have seen a lot of comments that the seat is not stable when installed, and I can tell you that this is due to improper installation. The installation is somewhat fussy, But not difficult once you watch the videos. Once the seat is installed correctly, it is very stable and secure.
