It was perfect timing because my middle daughter has met the age, height and weight requirements for a booster seat for a while but we were a little nervous about switching her due to safety concerns. After reading about the Cybex Solution B-Fix, we felt safe making the switch. On the whole, this booster seat is great. It is so light and was easy to install. We've switched it to a grandparent's car and back and it just takes a couple of minutes. You do have to work to get the latch straps tight enough but I find that true of all car seats we've ever tried. My daughter loves the cup holder which seems silly but it's important to her. The only issue we have with the seat is the width. It's just wide enough that it makes it really hard to buckle in the captain seats of our SUV and the three across seat in our smaller car. We talked up this seat as a big girl seat for my daughter so her losing the independence of being able to click herself into a 5 point harness with just a little help tightening to needing a parent to buckle her in hasn't been great. Although she has enjoyed watching me sweat and try not to curse as I struggle to buckle her in. I would still recommend this seat to a friend as long as their car doesn't have narrow seats. Our family was lucky enough to try this one through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I'm impressed. I personally love how light this booster seat is, yet that doesn't seem to hinder the quality. It was incredibly easy to install, and we've moved it from car to car with no problem. It fits tightly to the seat thanks to the lower anchors and my child stays securely in place using the seat belt. My child likes how comfortable the seat is and she says that the headrest fits her head better than her last seat. Since we spend quite a bit of time in the car, the comfort level is very important to us. Overall, we are very happy with this booster seat and would recommend it to other families. Our only complaint (if you could even call it that) is that we'd prefer two cup holders instead of one. Despite this, I am just not ready to shift away from a high backed booster for safety reasons. This is why I was so excited to receive the CYBEX Solution B-Fix Booster Seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We love it and so does my son (especially important on long car rides). My favorite feature is how lightweight the booster seat is. I have even had my son carry it on his own to the car. It's also very simple to install and easy to adjust the seat back to a higher position (although I do accidentally adjust it when moving it sometimes so I always double check the height of the seat back once my son is in his seat). I timed our unrushed journey from door to driving today; from my son carrying the booster to the car to fully buckled in his seat, was less than a minute and a half-- the least I have ever wrestled with a car seat or booster. Best of all, my son exclaimed, &quot;it's very comfortable&quot; when I asked him what he would say about his new booster. It was very easy to setup and install with the latch system. The high back booster seat is very light weight and I can easily move it between cars. There is an adjustable head side protection that you can adjust it to be longer as your child grows. My son seems to be comfortable while riding in this seat. The seat includes a cup holder to hold his water bottles. My favorite feature though is that the fabric is so soft and easily snaps on and off for washing. It&rsquo;s easily adjustable for height and easy to install and move between vehicles. It didn&rsquo;t work well for our situation though where we needed three across as it didn&rsquo;t fit with the other two car seats. It&rsquo;s a bit wider than the other one we have. It was really easy for my daughter to use. It seemed a little flimsy when I put it together and had to snap the back to the seat- it kept just popping off. I guess when it&rsquo;s against the back of a car seat it will keep it more stable but I just didn&rsquo;t like how cheap that part felt and if I pressed any harder to try to get them to maybe snap in more I think the plastic would break. It was very quick to assemble out of the box by clicking the back portion into the hinges of the seat part and moving it into an upright position which secured them in place. We received it the day before we headed on vacation so it was easy to install into our minivan using the LATCH system. The instructions booklet is informative and helpful with diagrams and clear directions. The design of this high-back booster is very sleek and sturdy. The neutral black color helps hide any messes or stains which inevitably happens with children and the material is slick and breathable makes it easy to wipe clean. My son loves his new big boy seat and how comfortable it is. One of his favorite features is the removable cup holder which you can switch from either the left or right side. He was very happy riding in his new big boy seat. My favorite features are how lightweight it is to switch between vehicles if needed as well as a convenient handle on the back to carry it. I also love the safety features and the easily adjustable headrest so I can switch it between my 4 year old and 6 year old depending on who needs to use it. However, one of the minor annoyances of this arrangement has always been the hassle of awkwardly transporting bulky car seats from one car to the next. I was usually always breaking out in a major sweat after wrestling the car seats out of my car, just to buckle it back into another car. Enter the CYBEX Solution B-Fix Booster Seat, which I received from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out. It is a fitting name because it really has been a solution to my problem. It&rsquo;s crazy light, but also very sturdy. I&rsquo;ve had booster seats before that seemed to compromise sturdiness and safety for its lightweight features, but the CYBEX Solution B-Fix is solidly constructed, with its side impact protection system and padded headrest. My 6-year old also loves sitting in it. He said it&rsquo;s much more comfortable to sit in than his previous high-back booster seat and has no difficulty getting in or out, or reaching for the seat belt buckle to strap himself in. My only complaint about the design is the latch connector, which can be a little difficult to remove from the seat anchors, but after having moved the seat out of my car to switch to another car and back into my car several times since I&rsquo;ve had it, I&rsquo;ve gotten the hang of it, so it&rsquo;s just a minor grievance. My personal favorite feature of this booster seat is the removable cup holder, which I think is genius. Usually cup holders come fixed, and you&rsquo;re out of luck if it&rsquo;s facing the side of the door, because then your kid keeps knocking into it as they get in or out, sending cups and liquid spilling everywhere. With the design of the CYBEX Solution B-Fix, the cup holder detaches and reattaches to either side with a simple locking clip, and if you&rsquo;re someone who will be regularly transferring the booster seat to another car, this is a simple but very useful feature. I don&rsquo;t love this seat but my daughter likes it. The cons I found are- It&rsquo;s very flimsy and cheap feeling in the construction department. It&rsquo;s &ldquo;floppy&rdquo;, as in it almost feels like the back will fall off. If you need a narrow seat this is not the seat for you because the sides are very wide. The arm rests are rather low which might not be comfortable for some kids. The latch system is not very easy to use so switching it between cars isn&rsquo;t very practical. The pros are- its so lightweight!! My daughter can easily carry it, she&rsquo;s 6. The material is soft and she reports it&rsquo;s comfortable to sit in. I like that the seat is deeper than some other boosters I&rsquo;ve used so that the child&rsquo;s legs don&rsquo;t dangle as much. When I first got this booster I was a bit nervous because it&rsquo;s a brand I had never seen or heard of before. I opened the box and read the instructions and it seemed great. I assembled it with ease and put it straight into the car! It&rsquo;s easy to latch in to the hooks in the car for extra safety and my daughter hopped right in and I was able to adjust the height to fit her in a snap! I like that there is red where the seatbelt goes through so you know that you or your child is buckling properly! My daughter was excited that she could for the most part buckle herself and sit like a big kid. The seat didn&rsquo;t move or shift while riding around and she said the seat was very comfortable. My favorite thing about this booster seat is that it&rsquo;s light weight and so simple to move between our three vehicles. My 4 year old can even carry it from one car to another with very little effort. This booster has been perfect for this - it&rsquo;s lightweight and the latch straps store quickly and easily under the seat when it&rsquo;s in transit. Set up takes a minute - latch it in and tighten. It&rsquo;s so quick! My son says it&rsquo;s comfortable and I appreciate that it has side protection for him. The headrest lifts up and down easily to adjust for height. It has a function to adjust front to back too but we haven&rsquo;t quite gotten the hang of that yet. All told, a good booster for when you need to move it around a bunch. Right out of the box it was easy to put together and quickly (and easily) install in my car. The latch attachments were easy to find and install. My son hopped right in and we adjusted the head rest position to fit him correctly and secured him with the seatbelt. We moved it over to my husbands car and the seat was so simple to uninstall and then reinstall. It took less than 3 minutes! Another added bonus was how lightweight the seat is so it made the transfer a breeze.
