<span itemprop="description">While the suggested age is 9 months, I started my son with this cup at 5 months old. I originally tried him on the soft spout transition cup, but he was not able to drink from the shape of the spout. This cup flowed perfect for him, as he is on a thicker formula. I have about 4 other brands of cups, which either leak or end up having the nipple collapse because the flow is not adequate enough, making for a fussy baby. I love the Y-cut nipple, as it is the only one I've personally found not to leak, even when bitten on and played with. He is now 7 months old and used this cup, as well as he accepts the transition cup! Once in the budget, I'm looking forward to trying the other cups offered.</span>
