The plastic bar do not stay pushed into the car seat it flips back up itthe buttons on the back of the bar scratch the grand kids legs. Our twins needed a new seat! The only reason why I can't give it 5 stars is because the front flaps that you can lift up so as to access the crotch button and move it to a different position are already not fastening. The white plastic pieces don't do a good job keeping it in place. It's more of a nuisance than a danger, but it is frustrating. We typically take the truck when we go on longer family trips, we recently went on a 6 hours drive and my Daughter loved her new seat, she seemed very comfortable and kept saying how much she loved the &ldquo;blue color&rdquo; it&rsquo;s actually more like a turquoise. I love that the seat is safe and tested very well. I did notice some other moms saying that the seat cover raises around the bottom and won&rsquo;t go back on properly, however I have not experienced this, maybe it was a fix with a newer design, I&rsquo;m not sure but all in all I love the seat and my 5 year old daughter does as well.
