My 4 year old is anxious to start using a booster seat so even though she doesn't meet the 40lb minimum, I thought she would be excited to know this would transform into a booster. I've been using the car seat for over two weeks and so far I am very disappointed. First, moving the latch connectors from read facing to front facing is not intuitive like on other car seats I have and after I lifted off the cover to move them, I could not get the pegs which keep the cover in place to remain in their holes securely. Fine, a minor annoyance, but it seems like it shouldn't be that way. Second issue was with the install. I like the SureSafe things that guide you to the latch connectors. Mine are buried in my seats so that made them easy to install. But tightening was a problem. The level line is only on one side, making it difficult to get straight if that is the interior side. Also, I could never get it tight enough. Even when I thought I had, I noticed the next day that the seat was loose. I put my ENTIRE weight on the seat when tightening so not sure how I could possibly get it tighter. The When I put my older daughter (4yo) in, the crotch strap was too close so it was uncomfortable. Also, the harness buckle doesn't slide easily, but maybe that will loosen up with time. It was super annoying in 20 degree weather though! I also could tighten the straps very well. I don't know if something got screwed up with the straps when I was figuring out how to move the connectors but it didn't look like it. So this seat did not make me feel safe at all and I'm switching back to my old car seat until my daughter is large enough for the booster. I will give it another try then. There were a few positives. The cup holder was nice and the seat looked great. I just wish it was more user friendly. It looks far more expensive than it's price point with plush seats, thick comfortable straps and drink/snack holders. (Something my far more expensive car seat does not!) However, this seat is so confusing to install. We tried the traditional anchor as well as the seat belt installation. Both ways were confusing to do so successfully, despite watching youtube videos and reading the guide. Once installed, the car seat moved far too much for us to be comfortable using it with our active toddler. The seat actually wiggled significantly while the car was in motion. It may be that this seat isnt comparable with our 2016 Honda Pilot compared to other vehicles. I have an appointment later in the month with a car seat installation group at our local Fire Station, so hopefully this is just user error rather than anything else. (However after reading the user manual I am just so very frustrated with this car seat that I am not sure I could recommend it. Being a mom of 3, I'm familiar with car seats and I've never had this issue with other brands.) All in all, looks great hard to install. We didn't feel safe to continue to use it. We have been using this carseat for about a month now and cant see myself using a different one. This carseat has so many features and is very easy to use. I have this seat installed in my toyota Camry in rear facing position and it fits perfectly. The position flap at the bottom sits properly and the seat is leveled to where my daughter can sit comfortably. The head rest piece is adjustable to be raised up or down to fit where the child's head is. The 5 point harness straps are simple with a chest clip on the chest and a buckle in between the legs. I can easily operate the buckle with on hand if needed to. We have also tried this seat in the booster position with our older daughter and love how easy it was to transform the seat to the next step. This seat is not very heavy so transferring from one car to another is not very difficult. I have washed the padding and seat cover one time to see how it would hold up in the wash and it came out looking brand new. Putting the carseat back together took less than 10 minutes and it was ready to be used again. One of our favorite features is the removable cup holders so they can be washed and placed back in nice and clean. With this seat you can find it cover all your child's needs from rear facing, forward facing and a booster seat. This seat is adjustable in so many ways that it grows with your baby every step of the way. We&rsquo;ve been happy with all of them, and this car seat is no exception. My favorite feature of the car seat is the ability to quickly install and uninstall the seat for transferring between vehicles and cleaning. Here is a quick list of what I found to be key Pros and Cons for the car seat, but as already mentioned, I was a fan. Pros: -Installation is extremely easy with their click system -Adjusting straps for my growing girls takes seconds -Seat covering can be removed with relative ease for washing - Cup holders have a liner which can be removed when they get dirty (and they ALWAYS do) - Fabric seems very durable and well made - Car seat is sturdy when installed and makes me feel like my daughter is safe and secure Cons: - Car seat came set up for reverse install and we needed to adjust forward. That process wasn&rsquo;t as easy as I would have liked, but once corrected everything else was perfect. - Not too important, but my seat only came with one cup holder liner and I would have like to have one for each side. When this car seat arrived the engineer in me wanted to see it set up in each of it's 4 modes and see how things worked, for when the time comes that my 19 month old needs to move up. A few of the adjustments are a little intricate, requiring some patience, but the manual is good so make sure to read up and take your time when making adjustments or changing modes. There are several features that I really appreciate in this car seat, the primary being the one handed height adjustment, simply squeeze the lock and pull up or down. That will save a bunch of time as the little one grows. Another great feature is all the removable padding that comes with it, for one they save having to wash the whole cover if there's a spill, but they also allow for proper support at different stages. Aaand... the cup and snack holders are a big hit. There are also two little quibbles that I have with this car seat, the crotch-buckle cover and the chest buckle. The crotch buckle cover prevents pinching when buckling up; unfortunately, it is easily pulled off. We left it off for a trip or two and unfortunately our little girl got pinched by the buckle. The armpit buckle is simply stiff and requires a little more effort to use than I was expecting. Overall, this is a great car seat and I feel VERY comfortable with it keeping our little girl safe (there's ample foam cushioning for protection). Everyday operation is easy (except for a few minor things), and the one handed height adjustment is SUPER convenient. The style is very attractive and my baby girl happily sits in it. It says you can use this from 4 lbs and up-I am using this with my daughter who is 10 months old, 21 pounds. What I really like about it is the padding around the head-it seems much more safe and secure than the infant seat I had her in prior to this. It says it is side impact tested, which puts me at ease that she will be safe. She is comfortable and it is very easy to strap her in. The straps already have shoulder padding to increase her comfort and make sure they don't dig into her tiny baby shoulders. The seat buckle has a padded piece around it, which I took off to make it easier to click in the buckle. If my baby were smaller, I would have left the padded piece on, this is a nice comfort feature. My husband was able to install this fairly quickly after reading the instructions. It will eventually flip to be forward facing and the back can come off to be used as a toddler booster. But...</span> <span itemprop="description">We just received our seat over the weekend. We made some adjustments and were able to get the perfect fit for our daughter! She seems comfortable and happy in it! However, after finding a good fit for her we went to install it in the car. We chose to do a middle seat install and had to do a seatbelt install. This was difficult. (Keep in mind, had we just used the anchors and the easyclick system, it probably would have been a breeze. However, we have no other children so we preferred middle if we could get a good fit.) So the cover comes up so that you can thread the seat belt, super convenient, or so I thought. I had this seat installed and tightened and perfect in about 5 minutes. Then I tried to put the cover back on. IMPOSSIBLE. I could not for the life of me get the cover to securely reattached while the seat was installed. Well, I figured since It was an easy install, I could just do it again blindly with the cover reattached. Not the case. After that first 5 minutes, I spent another 20 minutes and ended up with a crooked unleveled install. EVENTUALLY, with the help of my husband we were able to get it installed with a perfect fit in the middle like we wanted. So, I love the seat. The install was just a little rocky for us. I wish the cover had snaps instead of the plastic pieces. We used an infant seat until the baby outgrew it and then switched to the Everyfit per my Pediatrician&rsquo;s recommendation. I love how it accommodates even slender kids (mine are petite) with the optional extra padding while being upright and more comfortable for toddlers who are ready for a their &ldquo;big kid&rdquo; seats. This one was much easier to install than we feared, has dark washable padding to avoid inevitable snack stains, and has a great tray that is so easy to remove and rinse we do it daily. We both love this seat! She says she is comfortable and she likes that she is higher up to see out the window better. This car seat is easy to use, and the instructions for set up and changes were easy to follow. I had to move the buckle one spot back and had to remove the seat back to do so. It is a bit bulky but fits nicely in my suv. If you have a smaller car, I would check the measurements first to make sure it fits well. I usually look for a car seat that is on the bulkier side and has plenty of padding and support. I am thrilled that this converts to a booster because my old Graco didn&rsquo;t have this option. I have had many car seats over the years and I love the ease of using the anchor latches and adjusting the back height that this one has. However, upon reading the manual I became more familiar with the features and their operations. I placed the car seat in the middle seat in the rear facing position in the rear of my Range Rover and I instantaneously wanted to return it. The car seat was massive. I felt as if my child&rsquo;s head would touch the sunroof of the vehicle. Again I was hesitant to continue using this seat due to the nature of its size. At any rate, when I adjusted the seat to recline it didn&rsquo;t appear to sit so high. I purchased from a retailer on 1/8/2020. The seat is very attractive and plush, with (removable) extra padding for comfort. It also comes with cupholders and a snack tray, which is nice. The price point is great, in my opinion. Installation was ok, not super easy but not too difficult either. I was disappointed to see there is no bubble level on the seat to more easily ensure of good install and recline. There is an indicator line on one side of the base of the seat, but even that is not as reassuring as a level indicator and can be difficult to read/understand. The LATCH guides are a great extra, and I found them to be very helpful. More seats/brands should offer those. The easy release LATCH system is also good. The no rethread harness is also a great feature. After installing, I placed my 10 month old son in the seat. No matter what recline I chose of the three options, he just did not seem comfortable. The extra padding is almost too bulky. The padding on the crotch buckle was intrusive and made it difficult for me to properly buckle. I ended up removing it. I tried removing more padding, but my son just didn't seem comfortable at all and couldn't relax in the seat. Also, even with the headrest on the lowest setting, the straps were just slightly above his shoulders, which for a rear facing infant, is not safe. My son is 30 inches long, so he isn't a short baby. I ended up returning the seat after just 4 days, on 1/12/2020. I wanted to love it, and I do think it has the potential to be a great seat at an affordable price point, but some kinks definitely need to be worked out. It had many fancy features that my current carseats don't have. It has, what I can only describe it as, a leg at the bottom that extends and detracts that can lean the carseat as much or as little as it needs to be. I can easily put my 1 year old in the carseat and then put my almost 3 year old in the carseat within 2 minutes, without having to mess around with adjustments and seat buckle. The back has a flap that you can lift to direct the seatbelt through to buckle it up properly. The headrest can move up and down, and also has the seat buckles attached so there's no adjusting like a regular carseat. It is just very convenient. As far as I know, it is not a steel frame which is the only downside I have with this carseat. Our current ones are steel frame and I'd trust those more in a car accident. These carseats have two cupholds that attach very easily, and have an attachment to put over one cup holder that keeps the drink hole and adds a small place for a snack. It's...again...just perfect except for frame. It was easy to un-package and the directions that were included were easy to understand. At first look, the car seat looked very nice and comfortable. There is a lot of padding, almost seemed like there could be too much. However, most pieces can be removed for larger children. I have a Honda Odyssey and the car seat was first installed for my 19 month old son to test out. He is 22 pounds and sits rear facing. The car seat took up a lot more space than the car seat we typically use (which is also an Evenflo). The level line is only visible on one side of the car seat, which couldn&rsquo;t easily be seen when we installed the seat rear facing behind the driver&rsquo;s seat. The plastic guides around the anchor points are nice to have and the red strap &ldquo;quick release&rdquo; is easy to use. We began using this seat for my son on 1/6/2020 and we had him test it for a few days. Most of the padding had to be removed, even the padded shoulder straps did not seem to make a comfortable fit for him. The seat seemed to be very wobbly and loose, even after it had been tightened as much as possible and more than one of us had checked it. Next, I had my 3.5 year old daughter test out the seat. She is around 30 pounds and sits forward facing with the 5 point harness. We really liked the attached cup holders in this car seat. Her water thermos fit well and didn&rsquo;t fall out, unlike other car seats. I found it hard to pull the strap release when tightening her into the car seat. Finally, I had my (almost) 8 year old son test out the seat. He is 48 pounds and he used the high back booster. The seat seemed quite bulky as a booster, maybe because it&rsquo;s an all in one seat. He was sitting up higher, than his regular seat, which made it difficult for him to reach the seat belt buckle. Overall, the thought of having an all in one seat to grow with the child is really nice. We have had several car seats over the years and this one by far is the best. It has a very economical design and its not very bulky. It's bigger than anticipated when you take it out of the box but it's definitely well engineered for safety and maximum comfort. I'm very impressed. Lots of cushioning and my child appears comfortable. The seat adjusts to multiple positions allowing the child to ride rear-facing beyond 2 years of age without extending the seat or cramping other passengers. I love the fact that It grows with the child from infant stage all the way to just a regular booster until around age 8-9 yrs old, (4pounds to 120 pounds). Installation was easy and not as time consuming as other car seats. The installation is easier with belt lock-offs and SureSafe quick connector latching system. The back of the car seat is smooth and contoured therefore less pressure points into the seat and no need for a seat cover. The one handed adjustable head rest is a nice feature as well. I feel this car seat was one of the easiest we have installed yet. Some seats still move a lot no matter how tight you try to get it. This one appears tight and secure compared to the others. This all in one car seat is designed with machine-washable seat cushion and the it's very easy to remove, wash and replace.The cupholders are nice and sturdy and our child loves the snack cup attachment.I love the head cushioning for infants on each side to keep their head in the correct position. This is truly one of the best car seats I have ever owned. You will greatly enjoy the purchase of this car seat with it's many features and best of all you will never have to buy another one. This part is not an easy in and out and I would not recommend it for a first time parent but those of us with multiples who&rsquo;ve done many car seat installations should be fine. Everything else about the installation was super easy. Head rest is easy to adjust and clicks audibly in place, latching was a breeze with the car&rsquo;s seat belt but also would have been easy with the seat&rsquo;s latch system), and we loved the seat belt lock and the pull cords on the latch system are SO much easier to release than the buttons you press on other seats. If you move your car seats around a lot from car to car, that feature is especially great. The harness was easy to adjust to both kiddos. It does have squeaking sound if your child bangs their head around, which my toddler caught on to immediately. There are two cup holders, an additional snack holder, and the look of the chair is sleek and designed nicely. The buckles are designed to click very securely and I think it would actually be harder for a toddler to learn to take the seatbelt off. &nbsp;That may be a big plus to a parent of a curious kid- closer to 4 years old! The seat was easy to install and the latch was self-explanatory and secure. The installation book was thorough and clear. To me, the material the shoulder straps are made of feels thinner than other seats we have used- and that is a concern. I wish the buckle between the legs didn't get stuck under the kid every time they got into the seat, because the seat is so deep. Just a minor inconvenience, but maybe a slight design flaw. It seems to have a wider footprint than our other four-in-one chair, and I felt like I had to recline the bucket seat in the car more because the chair takes up more space in our mini-van. &nbsp;Not a deal-breaker, but something to consider if you need a third row for a third child. The dual cupholder and snack tray is really cool too for snacks on the go.
