It was easy to un-package and the directions that were included were easy to understand. At first look, the car seat looked very nice and comfortable. There is a lot of padding, almost seemed like there could be too much. However, most pieces can be removed for larger children. I have a Honda Odyssey and the car seat was first installed for my 19 month old son to test out. He is 22 pounds and sits rear facing. The car seat took up a lot more space than the car seat we typically use (which is also an Evenflo). The level line is only visible on one side of the car seat, which couldn&rsquo;t easily be seen when we installed the seat rear facing behind the driver&rsquo;s seat. The plastic guides around the anchor points are nice to have and the red strap &ldquo;quick release&rdquo; is easy to use. We began using this seat for my son on 1/6/2020 and we had him test it for a few days. Most of the padding had to be removed, even the padded shoulder straps did not seem to make a comfortable fit for him. The seat seemed to be very wobbly and loose, even after it had been tightened as much as possible and more than one of us had checked it. Next, I had my 3.5 year old daughter test out the seat. She is around 30 pounds and sits forward facing with the 5 point harness. We really liked the attached cup holders in this car seat. Her water thermos fit well and didn&rsquo;t fall out, unlike other car seats. I found it hard to pull the strap release when tightening her into the car seat. Finally, I had my (almost) 8 year old son test out the seat. He is 48 pounds and he used the high back booster. The seat seemed quite bulky as a booster, maybe because it&rsquo;s an all in one seat. He was sitting up higher, than his regular seat, which made it difficult for him to reach the seat belt buckle. Overall, the thought of having an all in one seat to grow with the child is really nice. We have had several car seats over the years and this one by far is the best. It has a very economical design and its not very bulky. It's bigger than anticipated when you take it out of the box but it's definitely well engineered for safety and maximum comfort. I'm very impressed. Lots of cushioning and my child appears comfortable. The seat adjusts to multiple positions allowing the child to ride rear-facing beyond 2 years of age without extending the seat or cramping other passengers. I love the fact that It grows with the child from infant stage all the way to just a regular booster until around age 8-9 yrs old, (4pounds to 120 pounds). Installation was easy and not as time consuming as other car seats. The installation is easier with belt lock-offs and SureSafe quick connector latching system. The back of the car seat is smooth and contoured therefore less pressure points into the seat and no need for a seat cover. The one handed adjustable head rest is a nice feature as well. I feel this car seat was one of the easiest we have installed yet. Some seats still move a lot no matter how tight you try to get it. This one appears tight and secure compared to the others. This all in one car seat is designed with machine-washable seat cushion and the it's very easy to remove, wash and replace.The cupholders are nice and sturdy and our child loves the snack cup attachment.I love the head cushioning for infants on each side to keep their head in the correct position. This is truly one of the best car seats I have ever owned. You will greatly enjoy the purchase of this car seat with it's many features and best of all you will never have to buy another one. Two clicks and its in. I was worried that base wasn't tight enough, but feel this way about all the car seats I have used. My toddler seemed to like it much more than the Graco one we used in the past. She can recline in the seat which is much better for napping and the seat is very well padded which appears safer for accidents. Only issue is that the padding that goes around the harness is so easy to take off, she pulled all of it off as I was trying to get her in the seat. I tested it for my 2 year old and my 4 year old and they both loved the comfort and style (aka the two cup holders). They are both front facing and both big enough we needed the crotch buckle at the outer position. This part is not an easy in and out and I would not recommend it for a first time parent but those of us with multiples who&rsquo;ve done many car seat installations should be fine. Everything else about the installation was super easy. Head rest is easy to adjust and clicks audibly in place, latching was a breeze with the car&rsquo;s seat belt but also would have been easy with the seat&rsquo;s latch system), and we loved the seat belt lock and the pull cords on the latch system are SO much easier to release than the buttons you press on other seats. If you move your car seats around a lot from car to car, that feature is especially great. The harness was easy to adjust to both kiddos. I really like the look of the car seat and the extra optional padding for rear-facing children. The cup/snack holder accessories are a nice option! I personally prefer the LATCH installation over seat belt in rear-facing mode. I didn't have any trouble getting the latches secure, but it was a challenge to tighten the system properly. I got the 4-1 as it said it had extra leg room for my almost 3 feet tall but still have to be rear facing kid. He doesn&rsquo;t have to bunch his fear anymore and he doesn&rsquo;t fight me getting in, so I assume it&rsquo;s comfier. He is my skinny mini so the pads fit but if u got a chunk baby you would probably have to remove some of the many pads. It was easy to put in but tightening it was hard, but I had a hard time tightening all car seats so I think it&rsquo;s me. Love it! Even the one time I overestimated and totally hit the curb, he acted fine so I wish I had the padding because it rattled me. It's very easy to set up and install and easy enough to go through the different stages all the way down to the booster seat. One of my favorite parts about this carseat are the cup holders. Most car seats have a very small cupholder that only fit about a third of the different sized sippy cups, this carseat however has larger cup holder that fits most if not all of my son's sippy cups. He said that it was very comfortable, and I liked that the head rest extends on both sides to appear very protective of your child's head. It does have squeaking sound if your child bangs their head around, which my toddler caught on to immediately. There are two cup holders, an additional snack holder, and the look of the chair is sleek and designed nicely. The buckles are designed to click very securely and I think it would actually be harder for a toddler to learn to take the seatbelt off. &nbsp;That may be a big plus to a parent of a curious kid- closer to 4 years old! The seat was easy to install and the latch was self-explanatory and secure. The installation book was thorough and clear. To me, the material the shoulder straps are made of feels thinner than other seats we have used- and that is a concern. I wish the buckle between the legs didn't get stuck under the kid every time they got into the seat, because the seat is so deep. Just a minor inconvenience, but maybe a slight design flaw. It seems to have a wider footprint than our other four-in-one chair, and I felt like I had to recline the bucket seat in the car more because the chair takes up more space in our mini-van. &nbsp;Not a deal-breaker, but something to consider if you need a third row for a third child. I have 2 kids in car seats, and our youngest one is almost 3 and we were looking for a front-facing car seat option to fit his growing height and weight. It was so easy to install with the only difficult part being the crotch adjustment. The anchor clips are really unique compared to other car seats and a great feature. The only downside is that the headrest seems a bit unstable once you adjust it to the highest level, moving around a lot and even rattling when he's not in the seat. The dual cupholder and snack tray is really cool too for snacks on the go. The one-hand height adjustment on the back is extremely smooth and easy to use. The kids were comfortable in both positions. Installation was easy (my husband insisted on trying to install it first without the directions because &ldquo;a good car seat doesn&rsquo;t need directions!&rdquo; We checked after to make sure it was installed correctly. It was). The straps and buckles are a little stiff, I hope they loosen up over time, but they do their job well. Really, the only problem is that because all three children can use this seat, they fight over who gets a turn! I am not sure why it was so difficult, but we have another evenflo car seat that has the EasyClick LATCH technology and it is sooo easy to install. I just assumed this would have the same since it was newer. Everything else about the car seat is great. The cup holders are larger than the old car seat our 3-year-old had and actually hold her water bottles. I love the additional snack holder you can attach and detach. The seat belt tightens so smoothly, a definite upgrade from our last seat that I couldn&rsquo;t seem to tighten no matter how it was installed. I was a die hard Graco 4ever lover, and this car seat matches and exceeds all that it has to offer. It was easy to install and came beautifully packaged, with easy to understand instructions. The padding and head support gives me peace of mind that my daughter is both comfortable and safe while on the road. I drive a relatively smaller midsize SUV, and I don&rsquo;t feel like this car seat is too big at all, there&rsquo;s still plenty of room back there between my older child&rsquo;s car seat and this one. I enjoy the easy latch feature, the click connect feature and most importantly the fact that this car seat can grow with my daughter until she doesn&rsquo;t need to sit in one anymore. The only downside about this car seat is the slight difficulty I had loosening/adjusting the harness straps on the back of the car seat to fit my taller child. Other than that, once it&rsquo;s fixed, tightening and loosening for proper shoulder, and leg support is a breeze with the push of the button located between the child&rsquo;s legs. I love the color teal they use, it is sleek and looks very nice. I also appreciate the different levels of recline it has. It sits reclined in a way that would make it easy for all ages in this seat. It&rsquo;s also a great feature that you can adjust the height of the seat belt and head cushion with a click of a button and do not have to take apart any piece of the seat. It&rsquo;s also great that the seat pads are washable and make clean up a breeze. It came out nicely after a wash in my top loader. I also need to tell you how great the snack tray is! I love that there is the extra added benefit of that. I can&rsquo;t tell you how often I&rsquo;m cleaning out nasty smushed snacks from the cup holders. This one is silicone and easy to remove and has a separate tray for the snacks. Definitely an A+ in my book and makes this seat worth it alone. The only issue I have with this car seat is that the head rest portion seems to have a lot of wobble. That makes me a little uneasy as you would think it would need to be secured to the actual seat. The wobble is only worrisome when it&rsquo;s in all the way. As it extends past the seat back it gains a great deal of security. Even saying that I gave it a good shake and nothing broke or moved more than the wobble which made me feel a lot better and eased my worries a lot. I love that it is for many ages and that you are getting a great car seat that you can use for many years rather than having to buy separate seats for every stage seat. This works well for my baby and my toddler and I have no issues adjusting it so they can use it interchangeably. I also love how easy it is to install and uninstall from the car. The easy pull tabs make it a breeze to take out. Overall I would recommend this car seat to my family and friends and think its a great addition to any family with a child under the weigh and height restrictions.
