I know this might be an inconvenience for some people but for me it makes me feel like my child is more secure. There is not much stuff to put together, just the cup holders, which I know others have a left and a right side so i look everywhere to try to find out about this because they are label as 1 and 2, but i couldn't find anywhere where it says how to put them together so i just snap them in the car seat without really knowing if I was doing the right thing. I love that the rear facing position can go up to 40 pounds and 40 inches. For reference my 3 year old is 38 inches so he still has a little bit of time rear facing. I also love that you can use it for kids weighting 4lbs because i know for premature babies is hard to find a car seat that will fit them. Body pillow and head pillow are only for rear facing so you have to remember to take them off when you forward face your child. For installation I think is similar as others. I installed it first using the seat belt and i think is harder than using the latch system since you have to fit the belt thru the rear facing belt path without getting the belt twisted&nbsp; (I installed rear facing. If you need to installed forward facing you have to use the forward facing path), so I opted to installed with the latch system and that went very smoothly and it was really easy to do. I don't like the fact that you have to installed it checking that the level line is parallel with the ground since I, personally, find it super complicated it because I can't be 100% sure that it is parallel, I prefer the types that come with a bubble, that way is easier to know if you actually installed it right. Also I don't really like where the reclining handle is. I found it very difficult to access it after i installed it and its also very difficult to recline, I pulled the handle and had to use a lot of streng to make it recline. Removing the crotch buckle to change slots was a little difficult but I always have trouble with this since my fingers are a little fat. As far as converting it to high back booster anf backless booster, it was really easy for me to do it, instructions are clear and easy to understand about this so i think that helped a lot. To remove the seat cover is very easy too, but I would suggest to video taped as i had difficulty remember where all the snaps should go. I love the fact that you can actually use the wadhing machine for the seat cover. I have to mention the fact that I love love the design, it looks comfortable and matches my car perfectly, also the snack tray is an awsome accessory since my kid can't stop eating. I have a big baby so we moved her into it before the average age. It&rsquo;s a comfy car seat with good padding, BUT it&rsquo;s a pain to deal with. The strap to tighten the carseat is so hard to pull, I thought we had a bad car seat. Other reviews have the same issue. My next (and most frustrating) issue is installing it into other cars. The strap is so hard to tighten that I CANNOT tighten it. My boyfriend has a hard time too. I do everything I can. Pushing at the base and pulling, nothing. Usually I have to unlatch the side with the strap, tighten it, then try as hard as I can to anchor it into the car. I also try to sit on it to be able to pull the strap tight, but the issue is the strap and it&rsquo;s inability to tighten. As soon as I have to opportunity, I&rsquo;ll be replacing this car seat and getting rid of it. I ended up breaking the head rest trying to do the install. Now I have to order a replacement and debating on getting a different brand seat entirely. This is a great car seat for the price, esp since it can grow with your child. I did not use it rear facing because my son is already too big for that, but it is such a great seat. There is a lot of padding and my son seems super comfortable in it. When we had it sitting in our living room after we got it together my son kept going over to sit in it. He loved sitting in it and kept asking if we can go to the car. One thing I was not a huge fan of was there was no bubble indicator that tells me if it is level when I was installing it, which is not a huge deal but it def would have helped. You can not beat the price since it's a grow with me seat and he can use this all the way up to when he's a big kid. Installing it took a little bit of time but it was not terrible, I will not be taking it out again because that would probably be a hassle if you had to take it out and put it back in for different cars. The straps were really easy, ans I love that the bottom buckle stays in place so I'm not having to dig under my son everytime I want to strap him in. This is a Big plus for me because I have used another seat that I had to keep reaching under my son to get it and it was a big hassle everytime. The padding is nice and soft and keeps my son really comfortable. It has 3 setting for reclining but it doesn't really have numbers of where it is so a little hard to see which position it is in. The head rest is easy to move and can be adjusted for my son's height. I think it is really convinient and easy for me to get my son in and out which I love.
