The cameleon is activated by movement and it only plays one short song and 3 sayings so it gets SUPER ANNOYING REALLY FAST because its the same thing over and over and over and over.... I would have expected more sounds or words or something for being so sensitive to movement. The only other thing that annoyed me was the palm tree bar and the monkey arch are not interchangable. You can move the palm tree bar with the butterflies around to the different holes but the monkey arch has these extra prongs on the ends so they ONLY fit it those 2 holes. So I move the palm tree branch and the dragonfly and parrot pieces around a lot to switch things up but I have to leave the monkeys off sometimes since they wont fit. The colors, ease of cleaning, and materials used. Don't expect much bouncing with this playset. There is probably 2 or 3 inches of movement. I would rate this 3 out of 5 stars... Maybe get it.... My favorite part is how multi-functional it is, the playtime mat was a big favorite of my little one's. Now that he's onto the Exersaucer itself, he loves it. If you get frustrated that your little one doesn't discover all the features at first, that's ok because it will give them more to do as they develop. I do wish the seat was padded, as others have mentioned, but it's still a great learning tool. Though I wish I could stop the clock now, still looking forward to eventually turning it into a toddler station later on. My product suggestion would be to provide an even quieter volume setting for the electronic bits, not a must, but it would be nice. However we also have an older model of this exact product and we can see that Evenflo has cheapened a few items. The most disappointing change is that the seat is no longer cushy and is now a thin mesh. Not very comfortable. There are less monkeys on the arch. And there are less designs/features on the toy bar. If I had to rank the difficulty of setting it up on a 1-5 scale I'd give it a 3. There are parts that can trip you up but overall it really wasn't that bad. We used the activity mat initially but a big problem that we have is that the butterflies hang SO low. It's also an issue in Stage 2, the actual exersaucer, because they are right at head level and bump his head. We haven't really had too much chance to use this, since at 4 months the seat opening is still huge, but overall I think it is a pretty decent exersaucer. So, when the child depresses a number, the product just makes a noise or plays a sound. Also, when it a button is pressed and then another button is pressed, it doesn't change to the new button sound. You have to wait for the first noise to stop so you child just ends up pressing the other buttons for nothing. My son found it very boring and was uninterested. I was very annoyed and displeased with this feature change. I have an older '08 model that is great and says the numbers, shapes, and colors. I just wanted the triple fun one for the activity table. I have since returned the product for something else.
