The bar that touches the floor is the SafeZone load leg which is an additional safety feature. The Safety sensor is the Sensor Safe chest clip that also provides additional safety features, such as notifying you if you leave the child in the vehicle, proper temperature, and a safety alert if riding in the car seat too long.
