It has been great for my almost 2 year old daughter. I love that it is reversible. It is so easy to rotate with one hand and can put my daughter in and then rotate to rear facing. It also is one of the few car seats I am able to fit rear facing behind the driver&rsquo;s side of my older Honda Fit. The small footprint of the car seat is easily my favorite part. I now comfortable have two car seats in the small backseat and can fit a person in the middle seat if needed. The car seat has is very easy to install. The base is simple to install and the rotating car seat comes in and out easily for cleaning and moving. I like that once the vase is installed I won&rsquo;t need to touch it again to move from rear facing to forward facing. The 50 pound rear facing makes it very safe to keep my daughter rear facing as long as possible. The built in safe sensor and app is a little more than I need. I think it would be great for a smaller infant or a first child. Since I got this when my daughter was a little older and this is our second child I don&rsquo;t use the sensor informant in as much, but can see where it would be a great thing to have. Overall, this is a great car seat. I love the small footprint. It is so easy to turn the seat towards the door to put my daughter in and then turn her rear facing. It&rsquo;s very safe and easy to install. I was excited to see that a slimmer option for this car seat was available as the previous version had a wide base that spilled over to the adjoining seats, making it a little uncomfortable for back seat passengers. The rotation on the seat is smooth like butter and you can operate it with just one hand! Less room for baby to wiggle around in the seat but she looks just as comfortable. I love that the seat rotates for rear and front facing modes! It makes it so much easier and quicker to buckle your child in. It&rsquo;s awesome that you don&rsquo;t have to reinstall the seat to switch from forward or rear facing. Which is great because the seat can be very difficult to put in. There is a base to this seat with arrows for where to line up the seat itself. It took too many attempts to get the seat into the base even when it was properly lined up. I wouldn&rsquo;t recommend this seat if you regularly move your car seat around as it was very frustrating. It&rsquo;s very compact front to back and side to side. It&rsquo;s a great option if you don&rsquo;t have a lot of space to work with. However, it&rsquo;s pretty narrow side to side and my skinny 3 year old didn&rsquo;t have much room in the seat. I have an SUV that can accommodate a bigger seat so this would not be my choice for my child due to its narrow width. One of the things I love is that it has a rear-facing weight limit of 50 pounds! Car seat safety is extremely important to me and I plan to keep my children rear-facing until they max out the limits. My favorite feature would have to be the chest clip sensor! I love that it sends an alert to your phone if your child unbuckles their chest clip! It also sends alerts regarding the temperature, if the child has been in the seat too long, and if they are unattended in the car. Another great feature is being able to adjust the recline of the seat without having to uninstall it which saves so much time. The seat does have a lot of cushion and seems comfortable. I would say the material is just standard and not premium. There are so many amazing features about this seat that make it such a great option! I only took a star off the rating due to just how narrow the seat is and how difficult it was to install the seat into the base. It helps so much when loading baby into the car, especially if you have a bad back and/or if the baby is fighting you on it. I love the 360 rotation, especially installing it once and it will be valid for both front and rear facing later on. This will save a ton of time. Given it has a 360 rotation feature, I am really surprised that the seat itself is very slim and compact. There are much more room after installing this car seat versus my previous ones. With the slim and compact profile, it allowed me to put more of the kids stuff in the back seat area. The increase of 50lbs for extended rear facing option is also convenient and allows the car seat to grow with you. The material on the seat cover is superb and the design is very well thought out. The built-in sensor on the chest clip is a nice touch and provides peace of mind. My favorite part of the car seat is the revolving feature. It was something that I didn&rsquo;t know I needed it until I&rsquo;ve experienced it and that&rsquo;s exactly what happened with this car seat. Every car seat should have this feature. The entire car seat felt very durable and high quality. The price is also very fair for what you get. I love the 2 cup holders and fabric selection. My daughter is still under the rear-facing limits, and since the evidence shows rear-facing is safer for young children and their developing spines, we&rsquo;ve opted to keep our daughter rear-facing until she meets the weight limit set by her car seat. Her previous seat had a limit of 40 pounds, but this convertible car seat allows a limit of 50 pounds or 48&rdquo;, meaning we can leave her RF longer. And, when she meets that limit, we won&rsquo;t have to take it out to reinstall it. We&rsquo;ll only have to rotate it on the base and adjust the straps. Speaking of rotation, this seat unlocks to turn sideways to make loading your child into their seat easier. This feature is a life changer for my mom whenever she uses my car to pick up my daughter from daycare. She cannot lift more than 10 pounds with her left arm, so this feature allows my daughter to climb into her seat more easily with minimal assistance from my mom, and then my mom buckles her in, turns the car seat back to locked position, there&rsquo;s a green indicator that takes the guess-work out!, and they&rsquo;re ready to go safely. Another great thing is the slim design. Her previous car seat&rsquo;s width meant that if we had two other passengers in the backseat, they were arguing over who had to sit next to the toddler, because her seat took up so much space. With the slim design of this seat, everyone fits back there comfortably and there&rsquo;s no more arguing! The SensorSafe chest clip is another fantastic feature. My toddler is exploring her world, including the buckles and straps on her car seat. She insists on buckling and unbuckling the chest clip herself whenever loading and unloading her. Because she knows how to unclip, I worry that she&rsquo;ll try to do it during a drive and that I won&rsquo;t be aware she&rsquo;s not secure until it&rsquo;s too late. This seat has a sensor that tells me if the chest clip is unbuckled! It also alerts me if the seat is still occupied when I exit my car, and if you&rsquo;re like me, you&rsquo;re grateful to have any and all of the added layers of protection to keep such precious cargo safe! This car seat initially caught my attention because of the swivel feature - buckling a squirmy toddler into a rear-facing seat in a sedan is a whole SPORT. I also love the buckle sensor (my daughter has started unbuckling her top buckle and its very stressful). I usually like reading the car seat manual from front to back to make sure I'm installing it correctly but it was also so nice that the car seat came with a quick guide to keep me on track. Overall, installing the seat was easy. I drive a small sedan and I loved how this seat fit in the car. The narrow profile made it possible to have 2 car seats in the back seat with room for a small bum in the middle seat. I wanted this car seat to work out for us but unfortunately my kids just didn't like it. There has been a lot of whining since we started using this seat. While I appreciate the narrow profile, the seat is small and is probably best for young toddlers. My kids are also very concerned with getting pinched from this buckle. I think the buckle is low and not smooth when we try to undo it and it's caused some anxiety from the kids about it. The seat is incredibly simple to use and has many noteworthy features. First, this car seat is very easy to install. With my other kids car seats, I found myself struggling for at least 20 minutes to install the seats, something I always dreaded. This seat came with a simple and easy to install base and then the car seat snapped in. It is easy to tell when it is installed correctly as it has built-in technology to ensure a secure and accurate installation. Second, I absolutely loved that this car seat can rotate 360 degrees! You install this car seat once and it can then go from rear facing to forward facing. This is helpful if I am transporting kids of different ages and want to flip the seat accordingly. Also, I love that I can rotate the car seat to the side in order to more easily get my baby in the seat. I find that a rear facing car seat can be hard to load and this feature is amazing. Grandma especially loves this feature as it makes getting the kids in the car much easier for her. Another thing that drew me to this car seat was its slim profile. As a mom of 3 kids, I am always looking for a way to maximize space and this car seat hits the mark. When we do need to install three car seats in a row, I will turn to using this seat. As it is installed now, its slim profile allows for more room to the side and comfort for the other passengers in the car. I also love that this car seat has a very tall harness height and will last my kids a long time. It also provides for extended rear facing position. This car seat also has amazing SensorSafe technology. This system will alert me in real-time to potentially unsafe conditions from the car seat via my phone. It fits my 3 year old well in forward-facing mode and rotates to allow ease of buckling. I&rsquo;m not sure how helpful the rotation will be in forward-facing mode, but I would have loved to have this feature in rear-facing mode - maneuvering a toddler into a rear-facing car seat and trying to squeeze yourself in enough to buckle them is TOUGH! I think the best part about the rotation is that the base can be installed once and the car seat can simply be rotated when you are ready to switch from rear to forward-facing. The chest clip contains a sensor that links to an app that will remind you if your little one is still in the car and let you know the current temperature inside the car. If you don&rsquo;t mind another app on your phone, this is a great safety feature! The cover zips off and is machine washable, making it easy to clean (which is much appreciated with a little one who likes to snack on the car!). The cup holder also fits our favorite kids cup (just barely), but it is an upgrade from our prior car seat that couldn&rsquo;t fit anything larger than a baby bottle. At first, I thought the &ldquo;slim&rdquo; would be too skinny for my larger sized boys, but it is perfect. For reference, my baby in the photo is 99th percentile height and 22 lbs at 7 months. The toddler is 31 lbs &amp; just about 3 ft tall. There is plenty of wiggle room for my 2.5 year old to grow into. I drive a truck and we do not have a third row so any extra passengers have to sit between the boys. My dad sat back there many times last week and said he had plenty of room between the infant car seat and the &amp; Revolve360 slim. Because I drive a truck, it is higher up and I have to stand on the floorboards in order to get the kiddos in a car seat. The rotating car seat makes my life so much easier! If you have a kiddo who hates getting in their seat, they might think this is fun. My toddler says &ldquo;weeeeee&rdquo; every time we put him in and turn him. Our old car seat harness was hard to work, but the Revolve360 slim makes it so easy to grab the straps, get their arms in in the harness, and properly buckle them in. My favorite thing is how easy it is to get a tight and proper pull on the harness strap when buckling them in. I never realized how hard I used to have to work, but this new car seat made it very clear to me we are now an Evenflo family. The fabric and padding seems top notch and both kids sit very comfortably in this convertible car seat. My parents often take one kid at a time, and this car seat makes it a good grandparent seat if you have more than one kid because the transition between front and rear facing is seamless. We have two boys and rounding them up to get into the car can be a twenty-minute ordeal. I was very excited about the car seat because it rotated and was slim! My youngest child fights to get in the car, it takes our entire bodies to hold him down and strap him in. The rotating seat allows me to place him in the car much easier and it doesn&rsquo;t strain either one of us. He likes to climb in himself now and no longer fights us and he loves it when we swivel him into position after he is loaded. The rotating seat also allows us to place our kids shoes on with ease after they kick them off on the ride without having to be in an awkward position standing or on the ground of a parking lot. We LOVE that the car seat is SLIM. We have (2) slim car seats now so that mom can sit in the back middle seat If needed to play referee. It was always a tight squeeze but with the Slim 2-in-1 the squeeze is much less, and mom actually has some room! In addition, one of my favorite features of the car seat is the safety app. I wish I had this when our kids were younger, and we were extremely sleep deprived. I love that the sensor safe buckle will alert me and ease my concerns. i.e. Is the car too hot? How long do I run the AC? I am so tired, did I drop them off? Does he need a break? Did he unbuckle while I was driving? Did I forget something? It is nice to have a device that will sound and alert me to these things to keep my child safe. The app also will send out a notification to my emergency contacts should there be a warning I do not see in a timely manner. I love that this is customizable to me and the peace of mind that it brings. The only drawback I have from this car seat is the installation. The car seat it is very difficult to get a tight and secure install. We have attempted this multiple times, but the seat still slides/moves when wiggled upon unlike other models that we have had in the past. I do trust the seat to tell me of my child&rsquo;s safety with heat/buckle/ etc. and I do love how much easier the rotating seat has made morning and evening drop offs at school, however if we were to get into a car wreck, I don&rsquo;t know that I personally trust the security of the seat in the placement of the car. I would recommend this car seat to others, I do think that the few flaws can be fixed with a few tweaks to the base or even the buckle that holds the seat in place. The fact that its slim, it rotates, and it has an app that helps keep my kid safe is something I look for in a car seat. I&rsquo;ve never had a rotating car seat before, so this was a really cool change of pace. The seat rotates extremely easy. There are no issues rotating it at all. Also, it clicks into place to secure it, so there is no way it can accidentally swerve around when you are driving. In terms of safety and comfort, I&rsquo;d rate this 5 stars. I&rsquo;ve owned a few different brands of car seats, and this one stacks up nicely with the rest of them. I&rsquo;ve tested it out on ALL my kids (infant to 4 years old), and they all seemed comfortable. It seems just as safe as others too. The extended rear facing limit is an amazing safety feature. My 4.5 year old is 44 pounds, so even she could still rear face in this seat. Although, you can just spin it around for forward facing. It is SO easy and really saves time if you have multiple kids that might sometimes share a seat. I do have a few cons, but they are minimal overall. - This car seat is supposed to have a slimmer profile, but it seems to take up the same amount of room as any other rear facing or convertible car seat in my car. - The only part I don&rsquo;t like is the buckles. They don&rsquo;t really click together well. You have to get them just right to click them together, which isn&rsquo;t a major problem, but it can be difficult when you have an angry, squirming baby. - While the rotating feature is really awesome for easy transition from rear to forward facing, overall, I don&rsquo;t really find it necessary. I know this is what makes this seat so desirable, but personally I never struggled buckling my kids in no matter which direction they were facing. It&rsquo;s just as easy to buckle them when they are rear or forward facing in a non-rotating seat, but, I do use the rotating feature now that it is available. What drew me to this seat right away is the option for 360 rotation! That is super important because I wanted to be able to rotate my child once she moves to front facing as well, not just rear facing. The handle at the top makes it so easy to rotate the seat and clicks in to place to let you know it&rsquo;s secure. The sensor safe chest clip is really great! It gets super hot in the summer and super cold in the winter where I am, so being able to see when the car is too hot or too cold gives me peace of mind. I appreciate the slim profile, as it fits much better on my seats than other seats do (large SUV). If I need to put a third seat in it will be SO much easier having this slim seat. My one suggestion is to give a little more instruction on how the seat padding works, without the infant insert. The seat cover has a part that can be folded under for rear facing and it took me more time than I would have liked to figure out how it needed to be set up for my rear facing baby who does not need the inserts any longer. The sensors helped me realize how hot the seat can be sometimes so I can cool things down before I put my son in. I&rsquo;ve never worried about forgetting my son in the car, but if you are, this is definitely the seat for you with its multi-communication setup with timers if you step away from your child you will be notified, then others you choose. Things I wish were different: 1. Extending the straps is not intuitive and the button is hidden under the seat, so I had to watch multiple videos trying to figure it out. 2. The seatbelt receiver, its always under him and won&rsquo;t stay flipped out for him to get in, which is slightly annoying. I am able to rotate the car seat towards the car door and easily buckle him in and then rotate him into the backwards facing position. Having the slim profile allows me to fit a passenger in between both of our car seats without the person feeling squished in the middle. The headrest is easily adjusted to fit any child&rsquo;s height. The car seat covers can easily be removed for washing. I loved that the cupholders can also be removed to clean. The material is soft and padded, making it a comfortable ride. The first time my son used the car seat he fell right to sleep. My favorite feature is the 360&deg; rotation and the Bluetooth chest strap. Using a smart phone you can download the sensorsafe mobile app. You will be alerted if your child is left alone in the car. He hated when I would have to put him in his old car seat and sometimes (sorry kid) would hit his head trying to maneuver him in the car quickly. With this new car seat I am able to simply pull up with one hand (super easy even when I am holding my son) and rotate it around so the seat faces me! It is such a genius feature. I have a midsize 3 row SUV with a bench seat &amp; the footprint of this carseat is also very slim. I noticed not only width, but also front to back (it sits nicely all the way on my cars seat). It gives us more space in the center seat for an adult to now be able to sit in between our two car seats more comfortably! With 360 rotation this car seat can be installed once for forward and rear facing, but it should be noted that the lower anchor installation has a lower weight limit than the seat belt. I thought the slim profile would be perfect for two car seats, unfortunately it is not ideal for side-by-side installation. While the seat is narrow, it is impossible to use the 360 rotation using this specific set up. This is not the best car seat for three across or if you want to use a car seat in the middle seat. I am a big advocate for extended rear facing. However, I&rsquo;ve seen better versions for additional leg room. The angle looks awkward, but no complaints from my toddler. I just prefer an extendable leg rest, especially for long trips. My favorite feature is the Sensorsafe technology. The app was easy to set up and the alerts give me peace of mind, especially during the hot summers. It's scary to imagine accidentally leaving a child unattended in a vehicle. It was perfectly packaged and easy to get out and get started. I chose to put my 27 lb, 3 year old in this. The base installation was a little tricky. My seatbelt (which is the preferred installation process) tension had to be just right for the safety lock to confirm proper installation-it gives you a clear green lock &amp; check mark, which is an amazing feature. I did try to install it with the Latch/UAS feature as well. It was so much easier to install and easy to unlatch as well! Once I had the base installed, you could honestly figure out the rest without the directions in hand. It is very well labeled and easy to figure out how to use. I lined up the arrows and placed the seat in and it rotated and clicked right into place. The rotate feature is great, however I feel like this function leaves the seat feeling &lsquo;loose&rsquo; from the base. With this, my only concern is how easy it is to shake or jar her around, causing concern if we were to get into an accident, how safe her head/body would be bouncing around so much. If there was a way to secure the seat tighter to the base, I find this would put me more at ease. What does put me at ease is the SensorSafe chest clip. Knowing that her chest clip is safe and secure and she can&rsquo;t undo it, or if you have a fear of leaving your child in your car, or the car temperature is too hot, it would notify me through my phone/app (which also goes through my watch) of all those things! My little lady tends to make a mess, so seeing how easy the cover is to remove and clean is perfect! The cup holders are easy to remove (simple push of a button) and bonus- they&rsquo;re top shelf dishwasher safe! Other features I&rsquo;ve fallen in love with: the soft textured material, easy to tighten and loosen belt straps, they even made a spot/pocket to keep the owners manual in the back of the car seat so it&rsquo;s easily accessible when you need to adjust anything. This review will be on the car seat itself and also how it fits in a Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. The Gold Revolve360 Slim with SensorSafe is what parent's have been looking for. The installation of the base was a breeze. Evenflo has great instructional video's for those who need a visual. It was the easiest car seat installation I have ever done even with the force needed to lock the seatbelt in place. To use the SensorSafe you must install the Evenflo app. It was an easy process to follow. Once the app was connected to the car seat. One of the many features is that it allows you to invite other people so if you do not respond to a warning, it will send that warning to others on your family list (those who you invited and also installed the app) The app tells you if the car seat has been buckled or unbuckled. This sound comes from your phone and not the car seat itself. Having a child who wants to learn how to unbuckle himself makes this feature my all-time favorite! The app tells you if the car gets too hot. If you do not respond to the warning it will send the warnings to others on your family list. I will say the temperature on the app is not accurate. My AC in my car was blasting at 70 degrees and the app said it was in the 90's. An alarm did not go off thank goodness. It did go off once when it was really hot but we had just gotten in the car, so it was very worthy of an alert. I like the narrow profile. It seems to fit the seats of my car much easier. My son is husky and is very comfortable in the seat. My son is 3 and fits the requirements for rear facing and forward facing. We use the rear facing position and will do so until he is at least 4 or reaches the max requirements so extended rear facing option that the Revolve360 slim has is a must for our family. It's also nice to be able to rotate the seat to get him out. He thinks it's fun when the seat moves. The seat always rotates 180 degrees to the left or right but only rotates 360 in a certain recline position. The only downside to the Revolve360 Slim is that the straps are not as thick as others and tend to twist easily. Overall I think it's a fantastic car seat that I would recommend. If you have a Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, the Revolve360 slim fits in the middle row rear facing, and it fits forward facing but may require removing the headrest for taller settings. You can use this seat in the third row to a limit - only rear facing except in the middle seat after the headrest is removed. This experience is NOT distinct to the Revolve360, rather it's a common Pacifica issue. Love the base of the seat but was thrown off at first since the belt install was the preferred method. Even so, it&rsquo;s super sturdy and is locked in really well with the latch over the back of the seat. I have an SUV so I try every way possible to make sure the seat is secure. Installing the actual car seat into the base was also pretty easy to do, it clicked in pretty quickly and I love that there is an audible click and a green area that lets me know it&rsquo;s secure. The straps feel pretty good quality and the buckle that connects to the app is a great peace of mind quality. My son is 3.5 years old so he&rsquo;s getting closer to being able to open the buckle himself. I like that the app will tell me if it&rsquo;s too hot, if he actually goes get it unbuckled while I&rsquo;m driving or if he&rsquo;s been buckled for too long. He&rsquo;s getting heavier too so the swivel feature is great for him to climb in and plop his booty down so that I&rsquo;m not awkwardly trying to lift him over the side of the seat and helping him get adjusted in there. I just installed the Evenflo Gold Revolve360 Slim with SensorSafe3 Chest Clip in my 2008 Dodge Caliber which has rather compact passenger seating and I am pleasantly surprised. To begin, the base with the seat attached is quite heavy. I first carried the base out and got it installed, then took the seat out and quickly and easily installed the seat into the base. The entire installation process took less than 5 minutes including attaching the tether. My 3 year old granddaughter is still rear-facing (I chose this seat because it allows for rear-facing up to 50lb) so having the seat reclined does mean I have to have my seat very upright and moved just a tad more forward than I'm used to, but when she's not in the car I can rotate the seat forward-facing WITH ONE HAND to accommodate my own comfort. *Most of the features are able to be used with just one hand. Those that require two hands are the buckling and adjustment of the harness which are so much easier when she is facing me. Not having to reach and twist to secure the harness gives me more confidence that it is adjusted properly each time. That brings me to the SensorSafe3 Chest Clip on the harness. It connects to an app installed on my smart phone and will alert me to four situations that would require my attention: 1. The clip comes unbuckled 2. She's been in the seat for more than 2hr 3. The temperature in the vehicle is above 95F or below 45F 4. I walk away from the car seat while the clip is buckled. If I don't acknowledge the alert through the app it will alert the family members I have connected to the app and give them the last known location. I'd like to think I'd never leave her in a car but this statistic exists because it does happen. As a former paramedic, I've seen my share of tragedies involving kids in cars and this seat gives me some peace of mind. It's like he knew it was for him, and he was ecstatic to sit in it for the first time. Since he was already sitting in the seat, I used this time to adjust the harness and get it set up so he was safe. It was incredibly easy to adjust the harnesses- something that isn't always the case. I think it took me less than 5 minutes to adjust the harness on his chest/shoulders and to adjust the position of the buckle to be a little further out. It was a piece of cake! Once I had everything adjusted, I let him climb in again to confirm everything was set up for his safety, and his comfort, and then it was time to put it in the car. I did finangle with the rotation feature a little bit before hand, I wanted to get some practice in so it was smooth going once I was ready to use it, but the practice time really wasn't needed. It is extremely intuitive and simple to rotate the seat, whether it's just to the side to put your kiddo in/pull them out, or to switch them from rear-facing to forward-facing. Additionally, I like how secure the seat is when it's in locked position. My son is a bit of a wiggle worm, but he doesn't even make it budge. Installation was super simple and, again, only took minutes. I will note that while this is considered the slim version of the seat, you don't want to put it next to any other car seat if you're using the rotation feature- when you rotate, at least in rear-facing, the seat goes quite a bit over into seat next to it. This makes sense since the seat is still a bit deep, especially when it's reclined for rear-facing, but I thought I'd note it in case anyone was planning to put this seat next to another. It was an easy fix, since the seat takes up little space in the &quot;walkway&quot; when rotated, I simply moved my 3-year olds car seat to behind my passenger seat, my 1-year olds car seat to behind my driver seat, and my oldest son can squeeze by and sit in the middle between them. The materials of this seat were amazing too! It was so soft, but you can feel the durability in the fabrics. I love how quick and simple it is to take the cover off and throw it in the wash too. Even though we don't let the kids eat in the car, some sort of mess always seems to appear. The sensor-safe buckle is amazing too! I really appreciate the peace of mind it gives me, and that it gives me a 2nd fail safe to ensure my kiddo is safe. I've never had any issues before, but I won't say no to the peace of mind. Plus, now I can make sure I'm stopping at adequate times during road trips to get the kiddos to stretch their legs! Finally, my favorite feature is the extended rear-facing. I am a big fan od ensuring my kiddos are as safe as possible, as long as possible. Due to this my 99th percentile 3-year old is still rear-facing (also in an Evenflo car seat ;) ). I love that I can use this seat until I am confident and comfortable turning them around, and I'll never have to change the install to do it either! As a mom of five children, I've used many car seats over the past 14 years, and this one by far has the most features. We usually have to choose a more minimal option based on price point, but if I had to do it all over again and this had been available, I'd say it would be worth the splurge. We tested this seat in a captain's chair in the middle row of our 7-passenger SUV, with our son who is nearly two and is rear facing. (We did swivel it to forward facing as a test, and it works like a charm and fits the car beautifully.) The first thing we loved is that it was easy to install. The Integrated Belt Lock system makes it easy to latch and tighten in place, without needing to have a lot of muscle and maneuverability. It quickly felt tight and secure in the seat. Second, I LOVE the 360* rotating seat. My son is in the &quot;scream and kick when you try to make me sit still anywhere&quot; phase, and this feature made loading him in to the car much simpler, especially when he would rather not be loaded. This could be a life-changer. At first we wondered if the safety of the seat would be compromised because there's one rotation point connecting seat to base, but we realized there are locking mechanisms to keep it in place. Super safe!! The seat has a great easy to remove cover, and we also appreciate the cup (or snack, or toy) holders. The harness covers are also not in the way, as we've found them to be with several other seats. With summer road trip season near, I'm looking forward to these features making our trips just a *little* simpler. I also really appreciate the slim profile of the seat. We have a lot of kids. On road trips, we will put one car seat in the middle and one car seat in the back of the car, so the bigs can help the littles. There are very few car seats that allow the big kids in the back to have any room to sit up straight, not to mention have any level of comfort. This seat is only 17&quot; wide at its widest point, and it's just generally not as &quot;beefy&quot; as other seats. I think it will work great for our next trip! The chest clip on the seat has a super high tech bluetooth capability, where it can send alerts to your phone if the car is too hot, if baby should get a break, if the clip is undone, or if baby is left in the car unattended (i.e. you walk away with your phone for a minute). I'll admit I'm an old school mom and won't enable these features after my test run, but I could see how these would be useful to someone who worries about this sort of thing. Personally, I think getting an alert after one minute and having my family alerted after three minutes of me walking away would be a little overkill. There have been several times I've left my children in the car safely, with the AC running (I have teenagers and toddlers) to grab a couple groceries... But not everyone is in this situation, and there is no price for peace of mind. One minor mention is that the seat reclines more when rear-facing a toddler than our others have. It may be the way it sits in our vehicle, or it may be the seat itself. I thought this would bother my son, but it didn't! He does seem to have more legroom in this seat, so he seems fine. No more hard angles to access those harnesses/buckles! Seriously, obsessed! I have 4kids under the age of 7, we have tried many car seats and none of them have ever been as easy to install as this one. Took me less than 5 minutes and that&rsquo;s following directions step by step. I cannot praise the easy use of this car seat enough! The fact that once they are old enough or meet the requirements to face forward and I DO NOT have to re-install the car seat is the best thing ever. With other car seats you have to uninstall and turn it around, adjust all the straps and reinstall. It&rsquo;s a hassle, but this car seat you can install ONCE for both forward and rear facing, all you have to do is adjust the angle of the seat with an easy access trigger. The other car seats I have are 2 slim fit convertible 10yr car seats and a bulky 10yr convertible one. This car seat fit easy next to the 2 other slim fit ones making my 3 across super spacious, cup holders could easily extend out, the bulky 10yr could never, takes up the whole seat plus some of the middle next to it. This one also fits great next to my bulky one with plenty of room beside it. I love how slim this one is! The 50lbs weight limit is great for extended rear racing too. I love to rear face for as long as possible, 75lbs would be ideal, but 50lbs is still great for my small framed kids. So definitely a plus. My favorite feature of the seat is the 360 rotation for easy in and out of car seat. I also love that the seat and be removed. My 2yo is always falling asleep on drives, so being able to carry the car seat in a position it properly to keep her asleep is great. The built-in sensor is nice, especially as they get older and learn to unbuckle and buckle themselves. Nice to have some peace of mind with the sensor. My only major complaint with this car seat is the straps are quite light weight and tangle easily. Once it's time to switch to forward-facing you don't have to do anything except rotate it to forward position. No more switching out the base. The base stays put no matter if they're facing rear or forward. Also rear facing until 50lbs!!!??? Yes please! That's amazing since we value safety. With all of that the seat is really easy to take out to clean without removing the base. I am honestly blown away by this car seat as a whole. They didn't skimp on any part of the design. It's so well made, sturdy and that fabric is great quality. As if this car seat couldn't be cooler....THE SENSOR! Anything with an app I'm all over it. You download the Evenflo app and connect your sensor via Bluetooth. The app will alert you if the chest clip unbuckles, if the temperature is to cold OR to hot. It will alert you if your baby has been in the car seat for to long, and if your baby is unattended which can lead to some very dangerous situations. You also have the option to have the app alert family members as well which is SO neat. Extra safety in place. Overall this carseat is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. My favorite feature is that it can rotate 360 degrees with a simple lever. I wondered how well the swivel feature would work and have been beyond impressed by how seamless it swivels from forward facing to backwards facing. I love that it catches as the 90 degree spot to make buckling and unbuckling a breeze. It also makes it easy to clean bc you can remove the car seat from the base (similar to an infant car seat). You could even buy another base for an additional vehicle and not need two car seats! I have the car seat installed in a bucket seat behind the passenger seat in my Toyota Sienna minivan and have plenty of room to adjust the front seat without hitting the car seat when it is rear facing. I also put it in forward facing mode to get things in and out of the middle of my van easier and so that my older kids can come out the passenger side sliding door without having to crawl under the car seat. The car seat material is breathable and easy to remove for washing. The cup holders also remove for easy cleaning! The only thing I don&rsquo;t love about the materials is that the strap material is a little more flimsy than some of my other car seats which allows it to get twisted easily. While the sensor safe technology is fun and feels futuristic, I didn&rsquo;t find myself relying on it to know that my child was safe. I would prefer a traditional buckle as an option over the &ldquo;smart&rdquo; one.
